Maybe its just me but I hate mini helmets.... I dont understand the interest in them??

I understand that they do not take up as much room as a full size and yes they are less expensive, but having the full size replica or on field style helmet just has so much more of a awesomeness to them.. They also hold value very well and sell for way more..

I buy some photos for on the wall looks, but I like having items that are part of the game or sport that the athlete plays.. I mean you buy baseballs, bats, jerseys, pucks, boxing gloves, helmets, footballs (NFL Duke), basketballs.  All full size and relevant to the sport...

Why a mini helmet?  I dont know just venting; can anyone add to my little rant, maybe I am missing something.

Hahah

Thanks

Omg thats the last thing I expected....
Im going to buy 5 right now. HA

LOL. Love it.

LOL leave it to you :)  I love it!

I actually like mini helmets. Sorry. LOL

I don't have any, but I'm not opposed to them. I think they're pretty cool. I see your perspective though. It'd be like people getting "mini-hats" signed. LOL.

Actually, I am not a fan of signed hats at all. Signatures always look terrible and weak... hard to nicely display a soft hat... etc etc. I would never pay for one.

Whereas, mini helmets sign very nicely and look sharp displayed. Not too big.

Different strokes for different folks. :-)

Yup. My Donnie signed hat that I got IP last year is already barely visible. I'm tempted to just start wearing it.

I guess so. But the full size helmets def coat more but its not always proportionwith the price of a signature.
A full size field style helmwt will run lets say 300 bucks. Slap a tom brady or peyton on it and bam its 600-700 bucks. Now put the same sigs on mini helmet and you pay 200 or less. So are we payong for the helmet or a combination of the sig on a field style helmet making the package of the two more of a premium??
Does that make sense im at work on a phone

Combination of price, space, easier storage, easier/cheaper to collect in higher quantities, etc . . .

Not only do full size helmets cost a ton more, athletes usually charge significantly more to sign them.  Personally, I find high quality photos more interesting to look at.   I guess if I'm going to spend money on a relatively expensive high quality item to get signed, I'd rather it not be something mass produced and common.

But they minis look cheesy to some (including my wife, who thinks they look like crappy toys).

Cheesy thats the word im looming for. I mean I just would rather want tye real deal in my collection. I wouldnt want a mini basketball or mini baseball bat.

Now what's wrong with mini-baseball bats?!?!?  LOL

well, it would be better than having mini-balls!
