Ebay seller Protisimulation writes in their title "Guaranteed Authentic."   It's amazing that all sellers of forgeries always write "Guaranteed Authentic.'

This is a typical 1990's "banana" forgery.

Guaranteed you have no idea what you are talking about. This is my ball, I have many Mickey Mantle Items with Coa. Here is my COA Mantle Photo Signed and Numbered next to my ball. I'd love your response.Please explain how you can identify my ball as a "banana". The Photograph behind it is PSA.

I'm sorry to tell you this, but your Mantle ball is a common forgery that we see often. I sometimes can't tell a good Mantle forgery from a genuine one, but your Mantle ball is instantly identifiable as fake to me.

Where did you get it? Maybe we can give you advice to help you get a refund.

The photo your held you ball against looks good to me. But I'm not good enough on Mantle to be able to reliably detect a great Mantle forgery. Your ball is like hundreds if not thousands of forged Mantle balls I've seen, so it's not much harder than telling a Ford from a Chevy.

Your Mantle on the baseball is an obvious forgery.  No question.

Here's my challenge to you.

Send your baseball to PSA or JSA.   If they authenticate it, I will buy the ball from you for $1,000.

If PSA or JSA rejects it, you owe me $100.00.
