Steve asked me to start a new thread since some were having a lot of issues with regards to whether or not the through the mail autographs of Jerry Lee Lewis are real or not.  I will post some examples of what we have been getting recently and some know in person examples.   These TTM signatures are not cheap.  You have to pay $50 for them to his box office box.  The question is are they real or not.  Roger has said that he has never seen Mr. Lewis sign this way and it looks to perfect - like a woman's signature.

Please post your thoughts here and examples.

thanks

Mark

Back around 2000 give or take a year, JLL openly advertised on his web site you could get a SP for a fee ($30 or $40 if I recall correctly). I sent a check and eventually got a SP through the mail. I always assumed it was real, but now I have to check. I'll share a scan when I get home later today.

Yes I got one also.  They are real IMO.  I think I posted it earlier.  Signed in red marker.

Thanks... I'm having a hell of a time following this thread. It is often not clear what item people are referring to when they comment.

Chad - you mailed out your letter?? I am going to be sending one as we'll

Mark
I did send it out last week.

Its great u guys sent her letters, but I cannot see Judith answering, 'Yes I signed them'.  Why would she admit to fraud?  I feel totally conned out of 50.00 now.  If they had the nerve to hand out pre-signed CD booklets at an in store appearance (which from all indications seem to be signed by Judith), I have no doubt the recent TTMs are fake as well.  I also think JLL is aware of the practice since he was present at the in-store Best Buy appearance and probably knew about the booklets.  Still hoping I am wrong though.

I was very kind and non-threatening, non-judgmental in my letter. I hope I get some type of reasonable explanation. I didn't tell them I was mad or request a refund. I just want to see what she says and then will push for my money back.

John, check out the signature I posted on page four and let me know what you think. Thanks

Hey Chad -

I am curious if she even replays back.

I check out the photo you got back in 2011.  I am not sure on it..  When did he marry Judith or even met her??  That would be interesting to know.

Mark

They were married March 9, 2012 (his seventh marriage). She was previously married to his cousin and I believe I read she was his caregiver.

Chad, not sure what to think any more on this situation. Your autograph that is To Chad,  the 'To' looks like it could have been written by Elvis!

I think that would really increase the value.

I went to JLL's NYC show in February 2010 and got a cd signed (although I didn't see him sign it). As it was very cold, JLL didn't sign as he entered the building, but his manager saw me inside the venue before the show and offered to take my cd backstage for JLL to sign. Within 10 minutes, his manager brought the signed cd back to me.

I recognize that someone else could have signed the cd, but I hope this helps...
