Hi!
I am new here and I hope to learn a lot. I like collect autographs since I was I child, but it is now when I have started to buy someones. My last adquisition is a Simpsons' book signed by Matt Groening with RR Auctions COA. I hope have it soon in my hands to give me your opinion.
I want to buy a Michael Jackson's one. I know that since his died the prize has incremented, buy i am not unposted to pay more of 200-250$. Where do you think I can look??
I have not hopes to getting it because I have seen how people pay a lot of dollars for (in my opinion) fakes. For example item #180611795531 in Ebay. It is a big fake in my opinion and also in my opinion a ADE's COA is like nothing. The cuts of paper with PSA/DNA certification are over 1000$. Too money to me if I think that PSA/DNA can mistake in the certifications.
Do you think it is possible to buy a genuine one in Ebay without a certification like PSA/DNA?? Item #290521843497 looks real for me (obviously i am not a expert xD) and it is too expensive for me, but a normal signed cut of paper of a private person (not a dealer) surely would be cheaper.
What do you think? Are there some tips or advices that you can say me??
Thank you so much and sorry for my english!

FABIO, if you are only willing to pay $250.00 for a Michael Jackson autograph be prepared to be purchasing a FAKE. I am not a seller thus do not actually know what his current signatures are worth on the market, but if I were to sell mine the bidding starts at about $2500.00+.

Be careful my friend.  There are THOUSANDS of fake MJ autographs loose on the streets.  To quote my mentor Mr. Steve Cyrkin, "Is John Lennon still alive signing autographs today?"

I think you are overestimating too the MJ's autographs.

I dont know if in your opinion a product with a Rogger Epperson's pre-certificated and COA by RRAuction it is good enought, but I can give you some final price auctions (you can see it in the web):

- Thriller Album: 928$

- Color glossy 10 x 8 photo: 578$

- Promotional duffle bag for The Jackson’ 1977 album: 357$

- Color glossy 11.25 x 14 photo: 240$

- Sheet music for ‘Remember the Time,’ 9 x 12, 6 pages: 770$

- Nice felt tip in-person signature, “Michael Jackson,” on an off-white 5 x 3 card.: 240$

I dont need an album or CD, with a photo or a cut of paper is enought ;)

If Epperson approved it, you're fine. And if it's Epperson and RRAuction, even better, because RR guarantees authenticity.
Fabio, I agree with Steve. Unless you know where the autograph came from, I would pass on Michael Jackson right now. Tons of fakes everywhere!  As a new collector, you need to be real careful about what you buy and who you buy from. Lots of bad guys out there looking to take your money.

Supply vs. Demand............

There are more FAKE MJ autographs now than when he was alive.  I see them everywhere.  Look at the shops in Vegas, ...........they are asking for 2G, 3G & 4G and you know the quality of the majority of those.

I am not selling mine, but if I did, at least its the real deal.

Also, anyone who wanted his autograph, and was not "part of his camp" so to say, knows how unbelievably difficult is was to even get close enough to ask him.

Michael Jackson signed a ton of autographs. You could wait outside his house and get 10 to 20 a day.
