Coach's Corner (www.myccsa.com) is one of the largest monthly auctions of sports autographs, trading cards and memorabilia. They sell non-sports items as well.
Let's talk about it!

Let me put it Simple
You get what you pay, if you want cheap prices
expect that's the "origional" quality you get.
Let me put it one way I would be very hesitant to buy anything authenticated by Morales or Ted Taylor , etc on their site. Occasionally I will look over their site for a JSA or PSA autograph for a "possible" bargain. I can get a "genuine" autograph with a JSA or PSA LOA for about 80% of the actual or possible value; for lack of a better tem. Coach' Commode (oops !!! Corner), has a very undistinguished or negative reputation to say the least, and it is do to the fact that for every 10 autographs on their site that are not JSA or PSA certified ; 9 are bad ! I wouldn't consign anything of value -- over $500 book value with them because the people who peruse/go through their auctions are looking for "bargains", so you won't get your price and you will be dissapointed. I bought some 1923 W515's (comic strip) baseball cards but when I got them and tried to have them graded they were reprint/fraud's and Lee @ Coach's Corner gave me a hard time about taking the cards back but eventually he took the cards back. They do have authentic stuff mixed in with their "fakes and frauds"; but how they stay in business is beyond me. Others will say over and over it is "newbies" and purveyors of forgeries (for re-sale); that keep them open.
How can they legally offer for sale an item with a fake LOA when the author of the LOA tells them, according to your post, it is a fake LOA and a non-genuine signature?
That would clearly fall under the Postal Insepctors and fraud. I hope Frank took the next step, did he?
Anyone who knows anything about Coach's Corner (CC) has to ask the following questions:
1. Who consigns their infinite inventory of vintage autographed memorabilia of Babe Ruth, Lou Gehrig, Christy Mathewson, Ty Cobb, Walter Johnson, Mel Ott, Jimmie Foxx, etc.
2. Who consigns their infinite inventory of Beatles signed albums, cut signatures of George Washington, Abraham Lincoln, Neil Armstrong, John Hancock, etc.
3. Who consigns almost impossible signatures from people like Mike "King" Kelly, Bonnie & Clyde, George Custer, etc.
Then you have to ask yourself "Who buys those autographs and where are they being sold?" Most of us know that COAs from "Stat Authentic (Ted Taylor/Jeff Stevens)" and "Coach's Corner LLC" are on Ebay's banned list and when auctions with those COAs are discovered, those auctions are removed.
We all know just how rare a Beatles signed album is. So how is it that Coach's Corner always has at least two Beatles signed albums up for auction every four weeks? And at least one of those Beatles signed albums are "authenticated (and I use that term loosely)" by Ted Taylor. Ted Taylor, before he got involved in the "authenticating" business revealed in a Philly Burbs article that he and Jeff Stevens were considering opening up a hot dog stand before they decided to get into the "authentication" business.
Why is it that a Babe Ruth autographed snow white baseball sells on the Coach's Corner auction for 1/10th of what the same ball would sell for at Hunt or Lelands? Why is "shill bidding" allowed at their auction site?
At the low prices realized for the majority of their auctions of vintage memorabilia, Beatles signed albums, etc., why is it that we don't see those same items being auctioned off at Hunt Auctions or Lelands where much higher final bid prices would surely be realized?
I'd continue with more but there really is no need, is there.
Here's a Great fully signed General Custer http://www.myccsa.com/Lot.aspx?LotID=249422
right now at the low price of $79.oo
It says very Respectfully, Your Obed Servant, G.A. Custer, Major General! What an awesome piece, one that is fully Chris Morales certified for authenticity purpose. Before you buy that read the CC book in my picture.
there a joke..everyperson i talked to about coach's said the same thing.
90% of there autographs are fake no psa/or jsa.they have other certified
which are bogus.would never buy or tell any one to buy from coach's.
