Not real.

another Roger Epperson COA obtained directly from him . Richard ...how sure are you ?

The COA looks very strange...

Is that any better ?

it looks like someone photo copied the album and put the picture over a different picture underneath another (probably Bruce) REAL COA? Why does the border not even and it looks like there is something under it...

You would have to ask Roger Adam but I have the emails that correspond with mailing of the cert and him looking at the piece

I have to agree with Adam. This COA looks different than all of the other ones I have seen from REAL. First off, the COA's are usually in color. Second, as Adam mentioned, the border is all screwed up. Roger is very professional and would never send a COA with the picture looking like that. It does look like someone copied and pasted a different picture on top of the one that was originally there.

What are the emails and other proof that you have? Do you have the colored COA?

Thanks,

Nick

I will write to Roger in private as some of the implications and allegations are way off base . This is how they were sent and I have the envelope and the original emails that went back and forth between the original owner and Roger , if you want to private message me , I will gladly discuss this in private .fair enough ...

Thank You

This COA is from 2009 , I am sure he has progressed quite a bit since then. I have a huge collection that I am getting ready to move , I did not want to influence peoples opinions by the cert that came with it , I am trying to figure out here who knows their autographs and whose word I should take more seriously , I appreciate every single persons comments. There was a point in time where Roger gave you just a bill of sale as late as 2000 I believe , the reason I am including some I obtained personally is if someone claims it is no good going forward his opinion would mean less then the guy who nails it right every time , the Fleetwood Mac everyone deemed no good as been deemed good by Roger , if the consensus is that a piece is no good , as in 3 or more I am just throwing it away as I don't want to spend money to authenticate 250 plus pieces , I can't afford it

Yeah, I'm not saying one way or another if the signature is real or not. If Roger says it is real then I would side with his opinion. It just looks weird on how the picture lines up on the COA. I will also admit I don't have a ton of experience on Roger's COA's either. It just looks like the Bruce picture is lying on top of a preexisting picture underneath it.

(But I am probably wrong ;)  )

I think what is visually throwing people off (and it is me too) is that there is a dark area at the bottom of the actual photo that Roger must have taken.... under Bruce's feet.... (about the width between his feet) that visually looks weird.  With so many horizontal lines on the page it tends to make it look like its covering up another photo.  I would still shoot it off to Roger via email myself and ask if this is one he ok'd but I understand why people thought this one didn't look right.

There have been a lot of forged COA's lately and its good for our forum members to take note if something looks visually off.  Here is a thread that was just mentioned last week where Roger's COA's were being forged, so you can understand why people might have asked the questions  http://live.autographmagazine.com/forum/topics/another-pink-floyd-a...
