Authentic IMO

where do these keep coming from? As the market rises on Beatles autographs every month there is a slew of new Harrison's and lennon's. Are we sure that a forger just has fooled Perry Cox and Frank Ciazzo and TRACKS? I personally think this is from a savy forger and he has done hundreds that these guys authenticated and now their exemplars are based off these fakes. I am talking about these single signed later signatures

There is one main thing that concerns me the most and few other things as well. The two rr's in Harrison, and how there they don't have loops are are a closed. All the slam dunk real ones from later in life tend to have not only some sort of open loop but they are not both formed the exact same like the one's in question. I highlighted this in my graphic. I also notice the way they tend to do the s in Harrison and how the enter the leave at the top of the letter and how on most undoubtedly real Harrison's he comes in from the top of the letter and tended to leave out the side. And the other thing is the capitol G. This is the known S type G when he abandoned the from complex G with the flatter features. The S type G is way easier to do and master and thus a forger would stick to that style. I also notice how 2 of the ones I question have the i's dotted over the i's and in the real ones he dotted them over the r's.....

I put together a graphic to highlight my points. And I know most of these are deemed real but top experts but like I have always said, forgers leave patterns and sometimes it takes years to recognize these patterns to flush them out. The question is, if I am right, would these expert admit it? Likely not. And hey, I could be wrong and I hope I am. If someone can show me some signatures like the ones I am questioning that are either with other real autographs or are dedicated in a way that is undeniable (I don't like the vienna book btw, the writing seems ok but it looks staged, the way he did the logo unlike any other I have seen and seemingly messing up on the "ison" that would be enough to make me recant this accusation.

Wow, I was skeptical as well, as there have indeed been numerous Harrison index cards popping up in recent weeks, but they do look good if they are forgeries.  I saw one sell for around $500 then re list with a Perry Cox COA for $1100, so I think you're right; if they are fake, they have the experts fooled. The placement of the i dottings is definitely curious. I'm interested to see what others say about your theory, because it sounds like it could be the case, to me at least.

Here's the seller's ebay site with their other listings.http://www.ebay.com/sch/paulvin/m.html?_nkw=&_armrs=1&_ipg=...

Wow, they have a ton of stuff, and surprisingly cheap!  Too bad so many of their photos are black and white.

The issue I have with Frank, Perry, Tracks and Roger is that they sell autographs them selves. What that creates is a conflict of interest and an opportunity to convince them selves something is real in order to make a buck. I know for a fact that all these guys try to buy autographs presented to them if they can, it's so competitive and profitable now with Beatles autographs they can't wait to get there hands on them like a vulture to a dead antelope. I believe in some cases some of them have jumped the gun (some more the others) in pursuit of the all mighty dollar. If they had nothing to lose or gain it would be better in my opinion. In their defense, I can't honestly say I'd be any different...... I've made some mistakes like we all have and I have to live with that.

On many autographs he has not dotted at all!

that is true, and I am not saying they are fake at all Thorston, I am saying that I am concerned about all the nip tipped pen double identical "rr" signatures I have seen over the last several years. Forgers get into habits and get comfortable with certain pens and what not and that is why we always root out them out, because they are creatures of habit, greedy and lazy.

With the ones above the signatures look good otherwise, expect the book which may be ok, it just looks a little staged to me..

Harrison died in 2001. I doubt that top Beatles experts wouldn't recognize a new style of forgery. I'd study these further before I proclaimed them fake.

Steve, respectfully that is insane. Are you saying there cannot be new Beatles forgers? And people like me shouldn't call into question things that could be damming to those authenticators? I am just a little confused. Is this site not for this type of discussion? I have been seeing these for about 10 years now. I have studies this a fair bit now and I feel like it's worth mentioning.

I think you have the right to question, but the only thing that I would say is something that you yourself said, you could be wrong. Especially when you are calling out the top TPA's in the field you should be completely sure they are the ones being fooled.

I am just saying hey guys check out these patterns I am seeing. Lets all take a look at this and rethink things. Every type of fake whether it be forged or secretarial was once thought real till patterns emerged and there was enough evidence to know better. And AGAIN, I am not saying these are fake, I am saying I am questioning them because they all share some similar traits and they are coming up often over the last 10 years, and I never saw ones like this before that.
