I'd say for the last 4-5 months VERY LITTLE authentic rock and roll autographed items have been put up for auction with no reserve.  Instead of auctions, most items have  ridiculous buy it now prices way more than actual value.

With the possible exception of Perry Cox's Beatles auctions (but those almost always sell for top prices due to Perry's reputation).

Perhaps the tons of fakes have finally scared away legitimate sellers?

why would they pull an authentic autograph? you would have to ask Ebay where the program went.

I think he means, say if it didn't have a COA however was an authentic piece. Then a QO was done and it didn't pass for whatever reason it would be pulled.

They must have been perfect not to pull down an authentic autograph, but im sure it happened, just look at our quick opinion service today it's a hit and a miss.

Thanks Adam. That's what I mean.

you cannot compare the quick opinion service to the EMR program.  its like an apple and a cumquat.

you would have to talk to their phone bank team in the Philippines...LOLYou will NEVER speak to an American rep with E-BAY EVER. Just a total  HorseS*** Company that e-bay from the ground up.

Maybe Santa Claus is coming to town next month too? Nice dream Bruce...

ebay has definitely gone downhill in many respects...in addition to everything posted here, in the last months i've had 4 non-payers on items...they won the auction, and just flat out didn't pay.  I've been on ebay since '98 and never had something like this happen.  very weird.

because only  complete idiot would buy from E-bay David. The guys who pay in 1 second after the auction like me are LONG GONE. Now you have idiots like non-paying buyers of slop. JUST QUIT and maybe in 10 years, e-bay will get the hint

Every few days I report one particular seller on eBay for his forgeries... they are never taken down and he is still selling his garbage.  The items are blatant forgeries and it would take them 2 seconds to look at them to see it.  eBay refuses to do anything about forgeries any more---period.   $$$$ in eBays pocket.

Wascher I have the same experience.  when they canned the EM program, they spewed the garbage that they had something else in its place.  What they have in its place is what appears to be a conspiracy in which certain "authenticators" have free reign to certify obvious garbage, shill bidding takes place and some unsuspecting buyer gets screwed.  at some point, this will have to blow up, I do not see how the corruption can continue at this pace.
