I wouldn't mind owning some more signed copies of the book. If anyone else purchased the book at the retail price and doesn't believe that JLL signed it, send me a PM or email me at itsallrubbish@mail.com.

Thanks so much, Ballroom. What would be especially interesting is taking some JLLs signed in person from the same time period and alternating columns with the book signatures.

I’m happy to do it. That would be interesting, but I feel that there’s a lot to be gleaned from comparing the characteristics of these signatures to an assortment of JLL signatures from various periods. There is also a number of very telling differences among these book signatures that are consistent with his signing habits.

I believe the book examples that Ballroom presented were all signed by the same person, Does anyone differ on that opinion?

So far, no one has claimed that there was more than one signer.

There are variations, of course, but they all look like they could've been signed by the same person to me.

I do not believe there is any doubt that the books were signed by the same hand.

I am not so sure there have been many (if any) JLL IP signatures in the last year.  From all accounts I have heard, he has stopped signing IP and you only have the books or TTMs within the last year to compare.

Not much of a response. I take it that everyone believes that a secretarial signer familiarized himself with all of the authentic traits contained within these signatures and incorporated those traits across multiple signatures that appear fairly rushed, differing the signatures in quality and varying them in a way that is consistent with JLL's signing habits?

I don't know if this one has been discussed, but it has similar characteristic s of the book. This was passed by JSA and is on ebay.

This one does as well. As you can see, it contains a GBOF inscription that is consistent with the JSA one that you posted.

Agreed. I definetly see enough similarities between the books and these photos. I think there is more then just a possibility that he signed the books. I still use Brian Wilson as an example, of someone who is older and not in the best health condition, however has done many consistent as well as rushed signatures lately. I don't know how long it took JLL to sign all the books, but I'd bet he didn't sit down and sign them all in one sitting.
