Just found one like it on history for sale. Do they sell anything at those prices?

Only to people with more money than common sense. Divide by 10!
thats what i thought. We are to tight in the UK to spend that sort of money on anything.
I never had a Gene Tierney but suspect one style or another is secretarial. As for history for sale he sells on eBay too. I know a couple that he sold although suspect not at his stated price. He has some very good things but he does has some secretarial signatures of Andy Griffith, Charlton Heston and Jackie Gleason. So you just have to know the autograph. I have always maintained he is probably more a collector than seller. I was tempted to ask him about a couple items he had, but figured the price I was willing to pay although top dollar would not be anywhere near his asking price.
I'm sure the one I have here is authentic. Won't rule out the other two being very early examples without valid proof but I would speculate that they are secretarial. I've had several Tierney signatures and they are line up with the signature above. Very consistent.
Thanks Scott. Joe I think I see where you are going the one with the funny autographs look like they could be early pictures. But most of them are a clone of yours. Bloody sectaries. Monroe was a sectary as well Shame. That would have been a crowning glory.
pjc. I have no agenda. Just trying to give you my personal opinion. Both styles could be authentic; signed in two different periods of her life. I don't think she has a high value either way in terms of monetary or collector interest. Currently, I do not own any Gene Tierney signatures, the one I have used as an example was one I simply found from a reliable source which closely matched the style of the signatures I have owned over the past 20 years. I'm not an expert by any means but I do love collecting vintage Hollywood autographs. You have a lovely collection and hope this leads to you become a collector yourself. It's a fun and challenging hobby. And rewarding when done right.
Thanks Joe, you and others on this site have been brilliant with me. The help I have received considering I had never looked at an autograph until I was handed these pictures two weeks ago. Has been a credit to you all.
Pete.
