I purchased this Paul McCartney from a member of this site.  I listed this item on ebay and it was removed stating it was not considered authentic. Before I submit this to PSA/DNA, JSA, or Roger Epperson, I would like some of your opinions. I've never had a problem like this before. Thanks.

Exactly, appreciate that Steve. I just want what is fair and right.

Who I purchased it from, at this point, is not the issue. I first want to resolve this authenticity question based of Roger Epperson's opinion. Hopefully this situation will resolve itself out without having to drag names in the mud. People make honest mistakes from time to time.

I just thought about if we knew him or not because he said he obtained the mc in person.

I'm pretty sure most people here would know him. A regular poster and contributor.

I like how you are going about this, Joe. The M and the lack of trailing on the underline are my concerns about the autograph. If Roger thinks it is in the acceptable range, that is enough for me.
Most of the guys on here have photos of themselves with Paul signing albums etc.

He has a photo of himself with Paul although not specifically pertaining to this signing. I have a photo of him with Paul. He told me he has obtained signatures in-person from Paul on several occasions in the past.

Hi Joe,

I dunno about this one because I have not looked for one thing - but if this signature causes you enough concern I suppose return it. There are also many authentic unattractive outside-the-box sigs. In any event, you don't want anything but happiness when you look at your McCartney in the future. Is this typical, this signature? Is it what you think of when you think "Paul"?

Best wishes,

                  Eric

I understand your point Eric. If it's authentic then I have no issues with it. This is my first McCartney and usually I get one to start with and build up to a better example. I am really just learning the current stars. Maybe I should stick with the vintage stuff! lol. But, mistakes on my part goes with the territory. Evolution requires some trial and error.

If Roger says it's good, then it's good. I will send it to him for a full authentication. Matter settled.

If possible I would return it.

Most guys have guitars or lps signed
