I've just bought this set from March 1962, when the Beatles played Stroud, Gloucestershire. This was the first time Brian Epstein booked them outside the north of England. Pete Best was still drumming for them, but not for much longer. Unfortunately there's no Paul signature, but he still remembers it well - he always says this was the worst gig they ever played, because hardly anyone showed up and they were pelted with coins!

Very nice and good reference material for early signatures - thank you!
Do members think that such early Harrison and Lennon signatures are worth more or less than their 63-65 styles? My guess is less, even though they are certainly much rarer and, to me, very interesting.
I too think they are worth less but I too would prefer an earlier style as it is more quirky and unique.
Congrats,I love these 1962 signatures.
Is that a modern reprint of the original handbill?
I have what I think are signatures (Lennon, Harrison, Best) from 1961 in a Cavern Club membership booklet.
I got them relatively cheaply. The seller even stated that she thought they were not genuine.
I had and have a sneaky feeling that they might be "right" but before taking my trousers (or pants to those of you on the other side of the Atlantic) down in public could anyone point me to some comparable 1961 examples? Harrison's early signature in particular seems to have been all of the place judging by the 1961/early 1962 examples I have seen. I attach some examples that I have found already.
