Harrison Ford Questionable Autographs
Some of you know me, and from what I understand, someone caught selling yet another bad Ford autograph has once again, decided to spout off at the mouth. Claims that I am a dealer and I only tell unsuspecting autograph buyers that their item is fake so that I can sell my own Harrison Fords. Again I am hearing claims that the likely supplier of the forgeries is the true expert on Harrison Ford autographs.
Side note the seller sent me a friend request message yesterday with the single question about if I knew a particular collector. In my world this says plenty, and likely tells me where the piece originated.
When I tell people that I track the sale of Harrison Ford autographs, I am not kidding around, I watch sales here, I watch sales on rebelscum and on ebay and other online auction sites.
Who signed them? Who is the forger? I am not going to play games and point fingers, nor will I even guess if the supplier is the forger, all I can do is put together where they came from.
I will give the people that have had these in their possession, that courtesy. They can come clean about where they got them as the "in-person" and "private signing" stories fall apart.
This is the same courtesy I tried to provide to Marc Moser, the last guy caught in a huge Ford Forgery mess. He decided to drag my name thru the mud for a few months as well, but by doing that he just shot himself in the foot. People will wake up sooner or later, and the truth does come out.
I present these images to you, again supplying the signatures and letting the people on this forum and others as judge, you decide the truth. You will also be the deciding factor if these autograph professionals keep their reputations or if they have earned brand new ones.
Every item below has been tracked to the most recent seller, and through his own admission the source of the autographs, I will also include items sold elsewhere by the supplier who admitted on these very pages to supplying some of these.
The pattern is pretty clear to me.
As for the recent claims about me being a dealer, out to only hurt other peoples supposedly reputable business.
Please keep in mind, that anyone that has purchased anything at all from me in the past 5 years has approached me. When they do I usually point them in other directions and offer to authenticate (for free) any item they ask about, from any other source.

These were both from the same CA signing, he returned it because it was a sh*t sig and not worth the $900 price tag. I still have the ROTJ poster in a closet somewhere.

Maybe the private signing was conducted in the back of a cab on the way to the airport. ;-)

I've been part of the madness first hand and have heard plenty of stories from friends.. Last year at celebration Carrie Fisher was signing stuff in bed in her room and walking to and from panels... Just because it's a private signing doesn't mean it's all neat and orderly.. Thats just the way it pans out with that kind of volume. I'm willing to cut CA a little slack in that regard, especially with Ford, but obviously not if they are forgeries.

Mike. It's unreal that these sigs could even be interpreted as authentic (even though you have absolute proof). I can see why some would be ruled as inconclusive by third party authentictors(even by those as good as Pete).
Makes me glad to have gotten a vintage signature. Opix sigs weren't much better this time round.
What's even more amazing is that people will spend over $500 on these with or w/out a LOA.

Interesting update in the CA Ford debacle:
"Quick update- I spoke with Derek Maki in Houston about our issues with CA. He said the signings are done through him, so he is in the room for all of the pieces done at CA signings.
He looked at the signature and said it did look off, but, Harrison CAN tend to drag his signature if people are not not minding how he's signing.
He told me he would personally take the physical poster to Harrison, but honestly, when this happens Harrison doesn't know for sure.
He did want me to pass along that he is in the room when this stuff is done, however, nothing is to stop Joe (CA) for taking stuff and forging.
He did say that Harrison will not sign In a pen at these signings. They always use sharpies, but Joe will sometimes use paint pens.
More to come, but I'm at the con and running around "I did not know that Derek was present for all their signings. That is news to me, I figured I would share it here.. I'll update if I see anything else.

Derek has handled all of Harrison's signings all along, even the Topps stuff if I am not mistaken.
The biggest mystery is what happens after the signing when Harrison and Derek have left the building and the companies have a pile of the real signed stuff, and then what Those companies put out there for sale.
