That's some serious cash. An item like that would be great to own, but a bit too rich for my blood. I'll stick to signed albums and just admire these items from behind glass!
Prince signed lp's arent no chump change.
No indeed. I'll be in the market to buy one next year. Hoping the prices will level out by then
Thats if you can find one.

I think Prince was a bad arse, a journalist said to Clapton, so your the best guitarist in the world and he replied you better talk to Prince. You don't find to many artist like Prince that can play slap bass like him and rip the s*** out of a guitar, do dance splits and turn around and walk of stage.

But in the end buy what you like.

As far as this Batman bracelet offered on this recordmecca website the one they are offering for $3,000 doesn't match the picture examples they are showing. The one in the pictures have 2 circles on them. The one they are selling does not. They also use the phrase NEARLY IDENTICAL http://recordmecca.com/products-page/museum-quality-collectibles/pr...

So the Batman wrist band may have not even been used by Prince, by the sounds of that.

Yea right Paul. They say nearly identical. Why would they say that? Obviously the one they are selling doesn't have those 2 circles like that are in the pics they show. And they want $3,000
Also they said the picture disc looks like the bracelet, but thats no real guarantee that he wore it.

I would be super careful with anything like this.  After MJ died, Jason Makris in Canada along with Memorabilia Vault scammed fans out of THOUSANDS selling items such as this.  Fake rhinestone gloves, signed jackets, fedora's, rhinestone socks, American Music Awards (x2), signed shoes, etc (along with normal autographed items as well)... all came with COA's from those around Jackson (big record execs, managers, body guards too) for "proof".  Problem was the COA's were fake too.  And they advertised nationally in media as well.  This may very well be on the up and up but I'm super leery of anything after dealing with scumbags like Makris (who is still forging and ripping fans off).

+1 from Gilmour/Hendrix/Beck/Clapton/Jonny G.  fan. Sure I left some out.

Eric

PS - Moby also plays a mean guitar, when he wants. And James Iha. And Billy. Billy is sometimes miraculous, as are all those I named.
