Congrats, Paul. It's a great item for sure. Does your friend live in a cave or something?

Hi Mark,he's some one I've known for a very long time .haven't seen him in many many years.last week he posted this picture up on Facebook for sale and I got in touch with him.he asked for 1500 I got him down to 1350.he said ok today.I raced over to him with payment before I lost the piece to someone else.
Probably the best score to date.

Probably a real dark dingy cave.

Nothing done wrong here. He set the price. We all search all the time to find good deals like this one. They are few and far in between.

Totally agree with youJoe,he set the price,I jumped on it.if it wasn't me,it would have been somebody else for sure.

Wow. You really lucked out that it didn't sell during that time, and you knocked $150 off the price to boot. Congrats again on a great purchase.

He didn't sell it because I told him from the first minute he had it up that it was sold to me.I went out on a limb .at that point I thought It was fake.until you guys told me to.look into it.
Thanks again.

You knocked him down as well! Classic! Only if we could buy them like that all day long.

That would be nice wouldn't it.

Such a funny thread, no its not real, than rolled into, don't sell it to anyone else, how about a discount/authentic/ sold.

It was just that simple.

This conversation has me smiling, and its interesting.  You went from feeling bad for the guy, to buying it - hows that for a day in the life of autographs lolol.

It is what it is.we all persue a good deal.this one fell on my lap and I took it.just another day in the life of collecting autograpghs.
