Kurt Cobain drawing authentic?

I have been offered this item. It sold at Juliens for a large amount so I am assuming its real but psa/dna said its not likely genuine. It looks good compared to Kurt's writing in his journal writing but its alot to spend to not have experts COA. What do you think?

If Nirvana is not your strong suit this would be an odd choice for a flip IMHO.

I was discussing with someone on the forum yesterday on this Nirvana Signed Mr Moustache posted by Ryan. The person pointed out something on it that raises a red flag on the authenticity of this piece. I am sure everyone who had collected Nirvana memorabilia has seen this piece on the web. As Ryan has stated that Julien's auction would only reveal that this was consigned by an anonymous close friend or relative.

This piece has all the familiar writings and the sketch that at first glance would no doubt look authentic to everyone. From the sketch to the writings and signature. I have always consider this piece to be authentic till now.

I spent last night going thru Kurt Cobain's Journal and this is what I found.

Page 24 Mr Moustache Comic Strip

Pg 101 Censorship is VERY AmeriCAN

Page 79 The END

Page 218 NIRVANA

Page 235 Love Kurdt

See the similarity in everything. Unless we know exactly the real provenance of this piece. I would conclude that it is done by a very good forger whom everyone on the forum knows. This is my personal opinion.

J
