Hi,
A QuickOpinion from PSA resulted as 'likely genuine'. I recently acquired a book by Arnold, the Total Recall hardcover, and it appears it was signed by him on the second page.
It looks a little different than the others I reviewed online, but that might have to do with the thicker marker he was working with, and thus letters looking closer together.
I lean towards it being authentic. What do you think?

This is definitely real in my opinion.
classic traits of an authentic Arnold sig in there, the “a” & the “s” and it really flows, little sloppy at the end but definitely real
Thanks. Yea, I'm pretty taken by that "s" action especially. The company I received it from most likely would not have forged it. I think Arnold's would be a hard signature to pull off in this instance, and when you can't go back and and re-edit what was done in marker.
Is that supposed to be an 'e' next the the 'r' at the end? Looks kind of like an @ symbol
As far as I know he had some signings in book stores, back when the book was out.
I have the very same book, but with a signed page binded by the author
Oh, I know all about that as I got my copy signed by him in 2012 at Mall of America, similar to this one where he signed it on a bare bones page, no book plate (is that what you mean by a page binded by the author?)
Looks like it's in a slipcase, something you'd probably only find online and not at a B&N?
My brother still has his copy, it was on his bday Oct 4, and he told Arnold that and he said something like "well happy birthday"
Drew, This looks like an in person book signed by Arnold from "The Grove" in LA or "Banes and Noble" in New York….or a few spots in-between, in my humble opinion. If I remember he only signed a short time at the "Grove", I will post a few examples of an in person , pre signed with the line under the signature, and thru the mail bookplate…..the squarers that have a signature. Others I think on this site said the bookplates and maybe some of the pre singed might be autopen. I am staying out of that mess.
Bookplate.
