I met him at a local movie convention a few years ago, in Maryland. It's a local show known for the friendliness of the attending celebrities along with the lower than normal convention prices that are charged. The person helping with the celebrities are usually a friend/family or show staff member who realizes they are a fan, just like us.

Robert was a guest and was just $20 an autograph and $5 a photo op. I think it was his wife doing the handling and she was very reasonable. Robert was so nice in his interaction. The local TV station was interviewing him around the time and a screen shot of he and I looking to see if my photo came out well was used for the segment on the convention. The shot kind of sums up the type of person Robert came off as-very attention to the desires of his fans.

Was that the Mid-Atlantic Nostalgia Convention?  I missed that one I think Ed Asner was there also.  I was the first couple they had.  I would have liked meeting Mr. Loggia he was a great actor and will be missed.

Yes, MANC. It's pretty close to my house but that's the only one I've gone to. They get some great vintage names but generally from shows I've never watched. That year, with Robert Loggia, Ed Asner and a few more-it was actors I grew up watching and still watch today.

He was one of those actors, like Morgan Freeman, that just makes the movie better with his presence.

Mr. Loggia was great is an old series titled T.H.E. Cat.

Great actor and very natural.

He was in a few episodes of "The Sopranos" also.
