The Godfather 25th Anniversary Fullsize Poster - 9 Autographs including Marlon Brandon

My husband and I want to sell our poster, but can't decide on an authenticator.  So we thought we'd put a photo of it on this site for anyone to comment on the validity of the autographs.  The COA does not list the actors that signed the poster.   And the authenticating company appears to be an enigma when i Google it:  Collector's Heritage Authentic Collectibles in Hollywood, CA.  I have determined that the autographs are the following:  Francis F. Coppola, Marlon Brando, Al Pacino, James Caan, Robert Duvall, Diane Keaton, Talia Shire, Alex Rocco, and Abe Vigoda.  I can post close up photos of each signature if requested.  I would appreciate any knowledgeable input.  Thank you, Kim

Thanks Steve.  We refuse to believe that we have many more fake items in our possession.  But I'll definitely look twice before I state that the autographs are authenticate...even with COA's.  It seems that even the most popular COA companies can't be trusted 100%!

Everyone...read Kim's profile.

Thank you CM! Yes, we probably have what your readers are looking for in autographed sports memoriabilia.   Just ask!  I'll check with my husband if he has the item that your reader is looking for.

Two big thumbs up to Kim and her husband for doing the right thing. Good karma coming their way!

Thank you Steve!

Thanks guys. Good Karma is definitely welcome. We've had a rough go of it the past two years. From non-paying get jobs, contract defaults, fathers death, dog died of cancerous tumour 10 months after a $6K surgery to remove it, our cat getting ran oved, and our most recent hardship - our furniture was stolen by movers in August. Thank goodness they didn't want the 175 boxes of possessions. Half of which were my husband's collectibles!

So, anyone interested in purchasing a couple of fake autographed movie posters? We have a Goodfellas poster too...lol.

Sorry to hear.

If you are looking to sell other items, the folks here can help with more opinions.

Thank you Steve.  We have 400+ items to sell.  I'll definitely secure opinions for any other questionable items.

Sincerely, Kim

I would be interested in hearing about your historical items.

Hello Kim,
Does your husband have a list of his cinema items?

Kim,

I hope you have autographs that our members would love to own...and you probably do!

But I told members to read your profile because you said you don't want to sell anyone forgeries, and that is so important to us.

Regarding your autographs:

If someone says an autograph you have is not genuine, or possibly not, and offers you something for it, pass. It probably is genuine, and if not, they're a forgery seller who you can't trust anyway.

If a member makes an offer on an autograph you have, it could be a great offer or it may be low. Check prices, ask members publicly or privately, but I wouldn't recommend revealing who made the offer unless they say it's OK. In any case, it's OK to counter an offer, ask for a higher one, or pass on it.

Don't be in a rush! It takes time to learn the autograph market and how to buy and sell in it. If you need to raise cash quickly, it's harder to get full market value, but if you have popular autographs, it shouldn't be too hard.
