Hi everyone, I'm new here and wanted a bit of advice. I recently bought two sketch's supposedly by Charles Schulz, sent them to be verified  by Jason Cullen from rareandsigned.com who verified them as genuine, I was thrilled with  the news so I happyly coughed up 120£ to the man for the two COA's. Are Jason's services reliable and are they recognised? Thanks

Are you aware that RareandSigned has been on Ebay's Banned COA list for years?

holy crap!! No I did not.... I'm new at this, just started collecting signatures... Damn, what do I do, is my money down the drain? is there any reputable authenticator offering free verification?

I don't see a return on any money spent for an opinion. Why not post these items here for members to see? I'd want to get some opinions faster than later. From where did you buy them?

Imran,

How did you pay for it? If they're on eBay's banned list and you used PayPal, you've got a shot at getting your money back.

I did pay via paypal for the COA's, can I contest the payment?

You can contest the authentication fees but it will probably be hard to get a refund. Explain the situation though and see what they say.

Real Schultz Peanuts sketches would be worth far more than what you paid. Those can be returned pretty easily once you find out they’re likely not real.

these are the two sketch's I purchased on ebay, one was from a vendor named traland the other was named ciao-charta, both based in Italy and 100% positive feedback... for the authentication I emailed the image to rareandsigned.com since he offered free verification service once he emailed me back saying it looked authentic, I paid him 120 pounds (via paypal) for two COA's.

Imran. When did you buy the sketches and where?

ebay about a week ago...

Authenticated for free and then...charged for the papers? Hmm.  Seller TRa-what? Henri Matisse and Egon Schiele for...$5.50?

I am looking at more - when? When did you purchase?

I see - December 28th? Start a return.

With these names and these prices I think we are to expect "works in the style of". I mean, the list...several Schiele alone...bends any belief.
