Greg

My respect for you dwindles every time you avoid the questions.

oh yeah; what Elvis signatures are you waiting for from me?

Greg is cool in my mind too until he starts write like Steve Koschal and fires off things and then avoids the questions back that ask him to back up what he says.  BS like "Hans across the water" is not needed on this blog.  He knows for a fact that I looked at this autograph and said I believe it's authentic.  Now I don't know if this was targeted at RR Auctions or at me but you can be darn sure I will stand up for my opinion and the company I work with.

Whomever wrote that email to you Steve has NO idea the crap us honest and legitimate authenticators have to deal with.  Greg wrote about a Hendrix autograph not too long ago and said no dealer would have the guts to say that this atypical Hendrix autograph was authentic.  It is very difficult to do that anymore as the dark and evil side will drag your good name all through the dirt if there is any question at all about an autograph.  That's when I tell the story of "there's a difference about being authentic and collectable".  You may have seen it being signed but if it doesn't look like known exemplars it's just like not getting the autograph at all.  The internet lets anyone write BS about people with very little chance of ever even finding out who wrote the stuff about them.  Even you Greg won't use your real name.  You hide like just like many evil people who try to bring this hobby to a money making machine.  So "emailer" I have NEVER hidden behind some fake name and thrown stones or tapped dance around my opinion on ANYTHING!  I tell the truth and do it under my own name; Roger Robert Epperson Jr.

Greg -

Why would you post that ridiculous email?  What does PSA have to do with this thread?

And in the Gleason thread, no one is criticizing you for knocking PSA... they are just asking you to stop dancing around things and say what you mean!!

How is that stifling you?!

In all due respect, I don't think you understand how your "beating around the bush" style can be very frustrating to people.

Who is Greg anonymous emailer's?  Correct, just as anonymous as you.

Let me explain to everyone, I am not some authentication service that can't stand up for myself because of some legal firm.  If you Greg; or anyone else wants to challenge my integrity please come forward.  I will defend myself.  i will speak out for I believe is right.  You WILL not see me hide and not defend myself.  I will use my own name, address, phone number or email address to defend what I believe in.

No Greg, perhaps you are a coward.  That image that you are comparing to came from ME.  The only reason you anything about Hans is because of me.  Once again I will state that I am Roger Robert Epperson JR.  My phone number is 713-664-7498.  My busines is 6025 Edgemoor Drive suite B Houston TX 77081.  I have nothing to hide.  When I speak everyone know who does.  You have not answered one question I have asked you just keep dancing like Stephen Koschal.  How dare you act like you have anything good to add to this hobby when you won't even use your real name or answer the VERY SIMPLE questions that are asked of you?  No comparison did anything, just state what you are trying to imply!

Greg,

Yes, we have the same anonymous emailer it seems. He sent me these two a while back, but not anoymously:

"steve,

every day i go to your site, and try to log on, when it says i am banned, i go to the only other site i know, with people i dont even know and blog my piece because its the only place i can go. i am going to keep going to your site first to login, i know its futile, but i never wanted to get kicked off. i never called any individual any name. ever."

and...

"tried to login again today, still banned, had to then go to plan b and click on another site which will let me on in order to blog about autographs."

Yet on ANL he blogs and talks about forgetting the name of this site, how it's a failed site, etc.

If this is a failed site and he wants to blog on it, it guess it says a lot of what he thinks about himself.

Oh very interesting. I wonder how it surfaced on eBay. Maybe they didn't even have the item at all. I can't think of a time I've looked at RR and not agreed with one of their Elvis' up. I don't know why this one doesn't sit with me well but I don't have the exemplar library or the expertise as I'm just a collector. Just on the face of it I wonder why Elvis would sign the front Elvis Presley and then sign the back at all, but sign it with an inscription too. Oh well.

On an unrelated note, it looks like their signed Oscar photo has an authentic James Stewart signature. These bad James Stewart's pass through PSA and JSA. I see so many PSA authenticated James Stewart photos with perfect and deliberate signatures. The problem is these photos aren't very old and James Stewart wasn't signing anything perfect and deliberate like that toward the end of his life. JSA authenticates all the Harvey drawings and It's A Wonderful Life photos. But this is for a different thread.

Hey, Brick, I just checked out the below from the same seller.  How does one seller acquire so many Elvis signed scarfs?

http://www.ebay.com/itm/ELVIS-PRESLEY-CONCERT-SCARF-CONCERT-1977-ni...

Now that I'm looking closer at this scarf, the "Elvis" looks embroidered.
They sell facsimile and just plain old horrible forgeries. This is their second account that I know of. The other one had close to 2000 feedback. People just keep buying this stuff. People with a lot of feedback and I'm sure a lot of life experience which should make them wiser to this game.
I won't be online much at all tonight. Have a home full of pretty women.
Now Greg, you see how easy it is to actually come out and say what you mean?  I said before that I don't care if you disagree with me about something just don't play this dance around the bush game.  I've said before I think you are very good with autographs use this knowledge wisely and not try to confuse the average collector.
