Is the surface very glossy? Looks like poor adhesion and pooling of the ink. Presumably/hopefully it dried.
It gives the feeling of not being real :(
It looks as though something may have pressed against the signatures before the ink was dry.
I thought of that but the dots present don't seem affected and there is no sign of smudging etc.
Look at the vertical(s) in the "D" enlarged - what is that and how does it happen?
Take one of those super-glossy coated baseball cards and write on it with a Sharpie. You'll see all sorts of strange things.
Yes I have had super glossy items signed with Sharpie - this appears different. I also wonder if Sharpie why are there no others I can find with this very strange appearance.
Happens with certain finishes on sports cards and, sometimes, even photos.
I just saw 2 examples, horrid, where people are removing Polly's signature. Awful results.
Uneven adhesion / slight pooling due to high gloss surface. Probably not the best pen choice.
