Bob Dylan Signed Art Prints
Hi all,
I purchased a set of Bob Dylan signed Mondo Scripto prints a couple of years ago from Castle Art.
The recent S&S book controversy is making me uneasy about the authenticity of the “hand-signed” signatures on the prints.
How can I tell if the signatures are autopen/are there any forum members who also may have any of these prints so we can compare signatures?

I still feel weve just barely scratched the surface.. I want to compile so much more information and post everything that could potentially be suspect outside of what we already know up to this point. Im on a mission. Its a shame that its so difficult to find many examples of 100% certain Dylan signatures with evidence of him signing that item

I have a Matt Dillon signed Bob Dylan Mondoscript I paid big bucks for, did I get fleeced or does Bob just have a wicked sense of humor?

It did come with a "Come On Down!" COA. Seemed a bit off to me

Here are my prints that I have purchased recently. According Castle Gallery, the only items that were auto penned were Dylan's last 2 series. The mondo prints were all hand signed, this is according to Dylan, of course. Not sure what I believe at this point. I will post my Taxi that is autopen and my 2 Mondo prints that are supposedly hand signed. This is according to what Dylan told the gallery. NOW.. is the value on his signed prints after 2019 of this stuff going to be forever be tainted. I purchased the mondos in 2020. Very disappointed to say the least. The gallery did say that I was going to be taken care of.

I do not see evidence of autopen in your mondos but I do see a variation in slant and its something I am actively trying to determine if both styles are from bobs hand.. I have no proof as of yet but im suspecting the style from your "It Ain't Me Baby" could be secretarial.

True. Im researching everything I can find. Manuscripts, handwritten lyrics, etc.. if I can not find anything that matches, the more research I do, I feel my theory will be reinforced but never actually proven.

I found it easy to identify Gleason's secretaries by violent and immediate changes to his signature - each time he got a new secretary or moved (Miami). Now I know them by name on sight.
