Bob Dylan AUTOPEN Info To Help With Returns / Refunds - Simon & Schuster, Premiere, and Coles

Some users have uncovered potential autopen use within Bob Dylan's expensive art prints. Please check your prints if you own one and post a picture on this thread if you have any concerns.

*UPDATE - Let this be a warning to ALL publishers and celebrities in the future. We are sick and tired of these autopen releases. Our community has had enough and absolutely will not stand for this practice to continue any longer!!!
I want to point out that Coles Books needs to be commended. They made sure to look out for their customers and refused to ship these out if they came from the same S&S stock, which they did. It was also an easy process to cancel orders beforehand if you wished. Coles. on behalf of everyone, I want to thank you for having integrity and watching out for all of us.
I can NOT say the same about Premiere Collectibles. They refused to honor cancelation requests until it was known these books were in fact autopenned. They advertise themselves claiming they are collectors themselves. This is not true. They are a retailer first and only care about your money. There have been other autopen incidents where they absolutely refused to accept blame, stating items were real when they were clearly deemed autopen by the community. Be careful with future purchases with Premiere Collectibles.

I am creating this thread as a comprehensive all in 1 link for returns, refunds, chargebacks and claims made regarding the "signed" edition of Bob Dylan - The Philosophy Of Modern Song. Please use this link to email Simon & Schuster, Coles, and Premiere Collectables as 100% proof these were signed using an autopen machine.
I would like to say right off the bat, Coles Books in the UK is handling this professionally and seem to care deeply about their customer base. They have stated that, once they are in hand, If they find evidence of them being autopenned, they will cancel all orders.. Kudos to Coles.. I wish all retailers would follow their lead. If you wish to cancel your order with them immediately instead of waiting, It seems to be an easy process.

So far, there have been a total of 17 confirmed different templates for the autopen machine used for Bob Dylans signature. I am in the process of creating video comparisons for all 17 sets. Please post full page photos of your item as they are delivered to aid in this process
Here are all 17 templates used by Bob Dylan - I am still looking for full page photos for numbers 8,13 and 15 thru 17 but its still best to post whatever you receive
Be aware when checking against your own copy, it has come to light that they are possibly using 1st and last names interchangeably. Bob in #2 matches perfectly with Bob in #13 while Dylan in both are different

16th variation - Seems to be almost an exact combination of #11 and #13 with a different vertical line in his "D"

Dolly Parton is also guilty of using multiple autopens in the same fashion with multiple templates over the years but with a slight twist where they manipulate the page as the autopen machine writes her signature. If we are looking to stop all future attempts at autopen usage, she needs to be held accountable just as much as Bob Dylan and S&S. Link to threads below

Dubroni - Let’s not get carried away . As far as I aware this is not their business model. Three companies involved here all connected . Castle are the end seller. . Halcyon manage the relationship with him and sell most of his originals. They agree with him what will be released in limited editions . Washington Green do the promotional stuff and their name is on the certificate of authenticity attached to the back of the print and as far as I am aware do the actual printing. Bob just takes a slice .

I will be curious as to if ANY of these companies that sold the items, just decides to say "we ain't refunding anything" and someone has to actually sue. Of course, then you get court costs and a lot of other "expenses" but they might just crunch the numbers and figure, most won't do a lawsuit, so they're fight the ones that do.

Josh , if you do not mind me saying you seem very much on the side of Dylan and Castle in trying to promote the theory that the little man in the street is powerless because they have so much money. Yes they will have to return millions to customers particularly if the number of releases is greater than Castle are admitting to. Just remember Goliath versus David and also the power of numbers. They are already on the self destruct path with bad publicity and old Bob is not going to last for ever. I think they have already milked their biggest cash cow to death and nothing big to replace him.

Not sure how they could refuse to refund anybody at all when Dylan has admitted the fraud in writing on Twitter for the whole world to see?
That would be a grave error of judgement by Castle or Halycon with everybody on here -already proving Dylan / S&S fraudsters over the book Debacle !

Folks, this discussion is going no where fast. It's time to get serious. This needs a federal investigation to determine what is going on. It's no use wondering who owes whom what. It's time to hire some attorneys - guys who will work with no upfront money, but will get a fair share of any settlement. There is a big settlement to be made, and I think there is a case both criminal and civil. All this speculation will not get you anywhere. It's time to force the truth to be told! It could be worse than you think! Maybe most of the artwork was not done by Dylan at all. Maybe it's all a sham just like his "hand written" signature was a sham. It would not surprise me a bit.....

It seems that Castle is a victim. I could be wrong. It seems that Dylan actually made his artworks. I could be wrong. Did you notice that every picture of Dylan in his studio, working on a painting, drawing, or making his steel sculptures, shows him alone! No assistants? Nobody helping him with the welding? Are you kidding? It could all be a big scam, folks. The only way to find out is to get depositions under oath. There could be a huge scandal waiting to be uncovered. But, then, I could be wrong.

This discussion has been going no where fast for several days now. There is nothing being said that was not said a week or two ago.
As for hiring lawyers "who will work for no upfront money" - good luck with that. The publisher and gallery are refunding purchasers and letting the buyers keep the items.
The items might be worthless to you but the reality is that they have some value on ebay and elsewhere even when advertised as autopens. There is little to no chance of getting a financial settlement beyond that, and so I would not expect a lawyer is to waste their time unless you were paying them. Besides, Bob has a lot of lawyers on retainer who would prevail either outright or by bleeding your wallet dry with legal fees.
Take your refunds, either keep the book/artwork or get rid of it, and enjoy this great victory.
