I actually bought the album in 2022 !!!

It's the first time I'm buying the Test pressing, does anyone has one of these signed test pressing?

In my opinion, Test pressings nowadays are a marketing bubble that is about to burst. I've seen the same with "Artist Proof" prints.

They used to be legit rare; during production a couple of pressings were made as test to be checked and signed off by the artist. But these days they are created as a marketing tool in often high edition sizes (50 is higher than you'd need as actual test pressings, I've even seen editions over 100). These kind of test pressings are not actually used as a test, but just an extra print run that is sold as a limited edition that demands a higher price. A marketing gimmick capitalising on the collectability of test pressings.

I do like them because the signatures stand out on the white sleeve. But as an investment I think the resale prices are currently inflated.

Thanks for the explanation. And it's a shame they produce more than needed for money.

Well, I'll probably end up with a few copies (already have 2 lps, 2 cds and 1 useless tape), so I'm not buying it as an investment. But I'll have to think if it's worth the money until my birthday (which is one day after the release), specially as I might buy another copy if its a proper signed LP.

There's 2 different vinyl options (same price though), but different ASIN # for each one and the signed pic has 'Amazon Exclusive' listed in description.
