*****YEAR IN REVIEW 2025: WHAT WERE YOUR TOP GETS? MISSES?*****
Wanted to start as always by thanking our founder Steve Cyrkin, Admin for this wonderful site!
I'm up to, and thankful for all my 105 Friends here, and so appreciate everybody's contributions in this community to help build our collections in this Autograph hobby we all so love.
As 2025 comes to a close, it's time again for:
*****YEAR IN REVIEW 2025: WHAT WERE YOUR TOP GETS? MISSES?*****
If you all will kindly allow me to go first here's
*****MY GETS: (In no apparent order):
.Anthony Hopkins (He is a classical pianist and composer)
.Michael J Fox (autographed my Back To The Future 40th Anniversary 345 Guitar)
.Robert Plant
.David Gilmour
.Jethro Tull/Ian Anderson
.Pat Benatar
.Lionel Richie
.Elton John (someone gave me one of the "EJ" initialled "Who Believes"..is this even a GET?)
.Priscilla Presley
*****MY MISSES:
None this year, our awesome community shared some incredible finds and I got all the ones that personally interested me !
This year, again, I maintained my promise to my wife and Jason H that I was pulling back on purchasing, as my autograph collection now completely fills the walls in my Music/Autograph room!
*****HOPES FOR 2026:
.Elvis Presley - but it's gotta be amazing like Steve Cyrkin, Admin 's, and authenticated by
roger epperson, and no wannabe authenticators!
.Axl Rose - at a reasonable price, not the junk filled comic book "Appetite" collection.
.Roger Waters - at a reasonable price, maybe nice and simple like a CD, but not a large Boxset.
So...now it's your turn.... 2025: WHAT WERE YOUR TOP GETS? MISSES?
Merry Christmas, Happy Hanukkah, Happy Holidays, Happy New Year...See you in 2026 !!!

Tallulah Bankhead - Lifeboat still - extremely rare. Bankhead signed this when Foolish Notions was having it's two week trial run at the Colonial Theater in Boston starting February 5th, 1945. The three names in the dedication are the daughters of a local man who worked at the Colonial. The play was transferred to Broadway for opening on March 13th at the Martin Beck Theatre. Lifeboat premiered in NYC on January 11th, 1944 so this is very close indeed!
Loved her in Hitchcock's "Lifeboat"...what a nice piece to have Eric Keith Longo !
It was a great year for signed books for me!
The five best additions to my signed book collection were:
-Annie Lennox (at Waterstones London, she was amazing!)
-Tim Curry
-Larry David
-Tim Burton (at the Wednesday premiere)
-Gary Oldman (in York)
And I also purchased my holy grail, a book signed by FDR, bringing me one step closer to my goal of owning a signed book from every U.S. president since Calvin Coolidge, with just JFK's signature still missing.
I don't really have anything that I missed out on this year, only a bit bummed about Robert Plant.
Those are some nice Gets to add to your book collection TimoGoose2 !
A very good year. My favorite finds included:
1) Signed Wayne Gretzky "99: Stories of the Game" TD Bank exclusive variant signed book

4) Braveheart cast signed poster (w/ Gibson signature) from 2025 King John Summer Prom
5) Pete Townshend "Who I Am" signed memoir (UK edition)

4) Josh Brolin signed memoir
5) Bill Gates signed "Source Code" memoir

You were soooo lucky to get Angel Wallet Boy,
Wish TSL would ship to Canada!
I loved KISS and Angel in the mid 70s.
Punky Meadows is a great lead guitarist!
Thanks! TSL still has the Angel LP in stock at a discount if you can get it forwarded.
I'd also keep an eye on Deko Entertainment's site in the new year. I'm wondering if they do a signed 50th anniversary of their terrific second album.
Love the Anthony Hopkins, Robert Plant, David Gilmour, and Matt Groening. Great year, every year I think how could there be more new and exciting releases, and every year this community finds them and allows everyone to be able to grab them. Love this place!

The focus of my collection remains vintage concert memorabilia, not autographs. It’s been a remarkable year in that respect, with many extremely rare handbills, tickets, and unique/personal items added.
My two favourite autographed items are this pair of fully signed Velvet Underground tickets from the opening night of their 1993 reunion tour:
Fully signed Velvets items are highly desirable, and these tickets have to be worth a minimum of £500 each. Yet they were both sent to me, free of charge, by an extremely generous fan who I’ve only made contact with this past year, and who I’ve never met in person.
In terms of signed things, there are very few misses this year that have kept me up at night. Bit annoyed that I didn’t get a copy of the latest Taylor Swift album, but I have so many autographs from her already.
No hopes as such for 2026. The exciting thing about collecting vintage memorabilia is that you never know what is coming next.
