Check out this piece-of-crap Mickey Mantle forgery on a baseball listed by Ebay seller Slice_of_life_az.

Guess who the COA is from?

You guessed it:  Guaranteed Forensic Authenticators (GFA) headed by Stephen Rocchi.

How many thousands of GFA-certed forgeries have we seen on Ebay of Mickey Mantle, Joe DiMaggio and Ted Williams ever since Guaranteed Forensic Authenticators (GFA) took over the "authenticating (cough, cough)" duties over at AtAuction from Chris Morales, Ted Taylor and Drew Max.

Garbage like this is directed at Ebay wannabe autograph collectors, suckers and impulse buyers.

The people who buy these forgeries are either scammers or people who know ZERO about autographs.  There is no gray area here.

The below Mickey Mantle forgery is an obvious and laughable forgery.

And on a Budig baseball.

Seriously!!!

Hey Chris, what is that weird, faint, serial-number-looking mark under the Gene A. Budig stamp? To me, it looks like a serial number. And what often gets tagged with serial numbers? EVIDENCE. Do you think that some of the Operation Foul Ball and Operation Bullpen evidence has entered the market place? Just a question.

Jeffrey, I noticed that, too, and I am trying to look into it.
