The description lists 2 authors of this book...

Is it signed by one or both? I wonder...

I agree, but is it at all possible that he is the one signing these?

I think the cost difference when I checked was only several dollars between the signed and unsigned books. Is that a reasonable premium for such a famous and reclusive artist?

I think it's safe to say with like a (~99.999999% certainty) these books will be signed by Ai Weiwei, and there's like a ~.05% chance the translator signs it too. That's what's so fun about this hobby, generally speaking when you find something like this early the value doesn't make any sense.

From what I have seen B&N usually only charges a few dollars more for their signed books. That is of course as long as they are not some sort of special edition exclusive to the signed copies.

Thanks for the pointer, got one.

Best regards

Anyone else seeing a pending refund on their credit card for their purchase of this?

I do not.

No

I think B&N doesn't really charge you until it ships. They just start off with a pending transaction that may come and go from your card. I ordered a signed George Bush book a few weeks ago from them and my card just got charged yesterday for it when it shipped.

It's a memoir, it cannot not be signed by Ai Weiwei.

Why not? It's written by him. It's not a biography if that's what you mean?

He’s just saying anyone who thinks this is signed by the translator and not Ai Weiwei is wrong.

everyone agrees this thing is going to be signed by Ai Weiwei
