Authenticity Check: EAGLES Autographs with PSA/DNA COA (Iconic Auctions)

I have a strong opinion about this one...but would like to know what others think.

This is currently up for auction on Iconic Auctions. Comes with a PSA COA.

I don't know it's history, but the Henley looks like very much like the ones I believe come from Stephen Duncan. The Frey does, too.

And Timothy's "Schmidt" looks like "S . . ."

It really does.

quite

Steve, I believe Jeff Woolf from Iconic is a member here.
Could you please contact him?!
May be this item can be pulled?!

I’ll send him a note. Members can contact him, too, thru Iconic, or post comments on his profile with a link. Knowing Jeff, I think there’s a good chance he’ll join the discussion.
Perhaps he can address the signed Doors album as well.
The moment I saw this several days ago I emailed it to an experienced collector friend - we both thought this was dissimilar to what we understand to be correct. I have owned two of the programs like what Bruce Juice posted and still own one. This differences are obvious. I would respectfully disagree that this Henley is of the style you don’t like and associate with Stephen Duncan. Though I can see why you would make the observation. The Henley on this program is significantly different in my view. The two most problematic parts of this Henley are the D, the likes of which I’ve never seen, not in Stephens collection or anywhere. And more importantly in my humble opinion, the H. Look on the correct program. The vertical lines that form the H move together as they approach the top and are rarely perfectly straight lines. These characteristics are present in nearly every authentic Henley I’ve ever seen. In this bad program they are perfectly parallel, which I’ve never seen of a good Henley. Also - Stephen actually saw the program on iconic and sent me a message joking that he wouldn’t bid $5 for it. So this isn’t and never was his.

Final prices include buyers premium.: $3,439.08

I didn't realize that the auction closed on Saturday.  I didn't have a chance to contact Jeff Woolf, so he probably wasn't aware of our concerns.

Do not believe those high "Sold" prices at Iconic Auctions.  I have seen so many items they list as "Sold" magically reappear on certain seller's ebay sites the very next day. It's a revolving door where bidders are at a huge disadvantage.  Jeff Woolf if you are on this site -- why don't you have reasonable reserves?  Or be honest when an item fails to reach the reserve and say so?

Steve Cyrkin, Steve Cyrkin..............you simply do not know when to give up.

Though I appreciate the fact that you credit me with thousands and thousands of signed Eagles memorabilia, the FACT is I never saw this program ever prior to this auction, nor was it mine, nor do I have any history of any kind with it.  Period.

Setting the record clear, again.

I am usually purposely vague about certain things anymore, however I don't trust a lot of what goes on in this hobby/business in Az. I don't think its fair to mention a certain persons name every time a suspicious Henley comes along either.

Agree enthusiastically Ian, with all three of your points.
