Thanks A.B.

That looks good to me. Like what I’d expect to see in a genuine BB King.

Thank you so much Steve Cyrkin . Thank you, Thank you, Thank you, Thank you, Thank you, Thank you,

Happy to help! So you know, David, even tho I own the site, I'm not a professional authenticator. But that BB King has the right shape, flow, and spontaneity.

Just remember to check out that tape - it will not do anything but detract value IMO.

The seller told me it´s not tape. I´m going to see the guitar in person tomorrow. WIsh me luck and I will post it here as soon as reach my hands

Very curious to hear what it is then. You can't laminate a guitar (I think!).

Finally, it´s mine!!! My gratitude to you folks. Special thanks to the eagle eye and master knowledge to Steve Cyrkin , Richard Booth ,  A.B.  and the concerns and observations of Eric Keith Longo , JMS1223 ,  Knob Dylan , Autographcontrol

I am very happy for you! But what is that over the autograph? What did you pay?

It's a protective plastic. Some sort of laminate. You can see the contour of the plastic laminate over following the shape on the guitar´s silhouette.

The old lady that sold it to me said that was signed on his last concert in Buenos Aires and she had it for 20 years and she doesn't know how to play the guitar.

When I asked more information about the history of the instrument, she said it was a gift from a friend -that now lives in the US- that handed 2 guitars to BB King in his limo. One is in his friend possession signed on the front, and this one that I got, signed on the back.

But is weird that tale of a gift from a friend. You don't give this kind of gift.

Congrats David! BB is an absolute master in the blues world. Such a beautiful style and can speak volumes with just one note. Very happy for you!

Maybe I am wrong, others would have spoken, but, to me, anything adhesive over that signature is a major hit in value. The item should be priced accordingly. I would pass if anything adhesive.
