Black Friday-Cyber Monday - Any other Deals BAM/B&N/TSL
Wanted to try and start up a post for the next week or so with deals coming up at many places or some have already started up.
BAM has started a BOGO - buy one get one 50% off on may signed titles, including some just released like Josh Brolin and Jim O'Heir! Which is annoying seeing as may of us purchased them at full price possibly even up to today from different places and they were just mailed out.

I saw some stuff on TSL for the books and other albums (again, some haven't even been shipped but they are now discounted a little grrrr)
Nothing really out yet on B&N, I saw clips of some TikToks where it looks like stores are setting up and you can see some displays with signed books piled up. I don't use tiktok so I could just only really rely on google to play the videos and I recognized some of the covers.

Yeah there's always been a few surprises seems like Natalie Portman always signs a bunch every year. Guess it's good to check out pics from the east coast ppl to see what random stuff does show up. I didn't see too much I'm interested in or don't have already

My store has them hidden all overs store this year.
They didn’t even have the Lennox book out. Had to ask and got it.
It’s a new b&n just opened last month so might not be typical. I got the Annie Lennox, Elodie and Atwood books.

Same at my Barnes & Noble. Signed books a on shelves with unsigned editions. Had to ask for Chesney and Annie Lennox. Annie is sealed and haven’t looked if it’s book plated.

Annie Lennox is not book plated. I took off the shrink wrap. They only had one at my store, and I had to ask for it, too, since I couldn't find it. Must be that all the stores mixed the books in with the regular editions, which was super-annoying. The Lennox is gorgeous!

Same setup at my local B&N,
Employee said they were directed not to have a signed table this year and just have them scattered about the store, and with the unsigned editions.
A ridiculous scavenger hunt I didn't have time for, but I found the couple I wanted. Not sure why they prefer them hiding about the store, rather than all together and up front like in previous years.

Ended up looking here and in other places to see what was going on. After the posts about the books being all over the place for the most part, I stayed in. Was near the store while doing other errands but waiting until the 3pm est online time. Of course the 2 or 3 I was interested in were only available in store, but as the hour went on the status kept changing. Said screw it, started to head out and while trying to park, they updated to be able to pick up in store. One ended up showing oos in the store, but was able to place an order to ship. The other 2 I'm going to pick up now. Just got the confirmation. What a piss poor performance by b&n today
