Roger epperson has a 60s full set for 2k on a fold.

Hi again,

It looks like it is matted with two other items? Do you have a photo of the whole piece? I was a conservation framer for a short time 30 years ago and I know prices have gone way up, but I believe you are correct about the $300. Play with mat sizes and spacing and you can make use of a standard size frame. You can also play is safe, do as a museum, get the most out of the acid free matting and avoid acidic outgassing from wood frames all while saving $ by using a good quality anodized aluminum frame, which comes in so many sizes, colors and finishes. I would think there are a lot of signed magazine and related types of images from this period compared to actual photographs. I would want to do my own framing. Just my .02.

I guess that's how I was thinking about it "...almost buy a 60's set...".

I would definitely inspect the thing opened - you never know what is in a frame. A while back someone wrote me about a "properly framed" Hendrix - affixed with masking tape! It was quite a surprise!

Ill show you my little set because your Australian and this was signed here in 64.

Nice!

Is Epperson's 2000 US or AUD?
Us.
I'm at the disadvantage of being in Australia and the piece is on the east coast of the US!
Sure he would need to remove the glass to ship the bloody thing.
Perhaps.

Free delivery in US; and we know people who travel to and fro often so hopefully get them to bring it here. If I buy it...
Thanks Eric. Piece attached

That is a very nice presentation. Rogers sets are really nice too, and you could do your own framing as well.

On the left, is that a vintage item?

I'm told the item in the left is an entire magazine, framed in full. I don't know how many pages. It does look nice. Of course, I doubt he'd drop the price for unframing it :)

For a bit under $2K (US), I consider it expensive but not outrageous.
