I'm not sure on this one. Something just seems a little off. I can't tell if it's the "B" or the "ilson"...but something seems off. Of course, Brian's signature can be all over the place, so it's possible this one is real. Do you have any details on when it was signed or in what situation?

You have to make a wise decision when buying a modern, Wilson. There's plenty to choose from, i would pass on this one.

I still lean authentic, but can see why there would be hesitation without knowing the source. The B does start on the same level of the R...Which in my examples that I own the B starts off lower. The R is also a bit more defined, than his normal sporadic or rushed "jaggy" look.

I think overall there is a neatness to it in areas (like the I into the L in Wilson) that normally come off more rushed. However I have seen good examples come from Brian depending on his mood and if this is fake it is a good one.

I would probably pass on it without knowing the source, plus it is on a Best Of album, which I don't care for.

Thanks to everyone for offering their advice and I have decided to pass on this.  A big issue for me as it was for you is that there's no real provenance on the source.

Hey Adam, it's rd421smith2012, a seller I am unfamiliar with.  His listings include several "high-end" signatures, including Robert Plant, Springsteen, Billy Joel and others.  The listing descriptions are pretty useless.  It was because I was a bit wary that I asked for opinions on the Wilson, which to my untrained eye did look authentic.  The consensus here seems to be why take a chance when there are so many available, and I see the sense in that.
