Coach's Corner (www.myccsa.com) is one of the largest monthly auctions of sports autographs, trading cards and memorabilia. They sell non-sports items as well.
Let's talk about it!

The Coach's Corner Sgt. Pepper's album sold for a whopping $468. To think, some people have paid 200-times that.
It's all a laugh to us collectors who know better, but it's a straight up rip-off to those "suckers"---uninformed people who simply don't know the straight poop like we do---they lost real money thinking that they actually bought something of real value. This is no laughing matter. With the multiple bids that this site has been getting there are a ton of folks just dying to buy some historic item that is genuine, but these predators think nothing of steeling their money selling crap.
That's really the sad part of this mess.
Very true, Stu, not funny at all.
I sincerely believe that the majority of buyers of that crap are people who know what they are purchasing, and they end up retailing that garbage in those stores.
How many thousands of people (wannabe collectors) bought into that Nicholas Burczyk, Forensic Document Examiner COA crap!!! Mr. Burczyk may have been a FDE, but he certainly didn't examine autographs in the early 1990's. But so-called collectors read the words "Forensic Document Examiner" and are immediately impressed without doing any research. There are some very reputable Forensic Document Examiners out there, but I don't know any who authenticate sports autographs.
Damn, just when I was ready to bid on these fantastic Morales pieces the auction ends! And a Ruth/Gehrig for only $398.00 and a maris/mantle for only $390.00. What to do, what to do... I know I'll wait for the next one as there are sure to be much much more. I thought I heard he wasn't "associated" with Coach's Corner! Seems he does alot of business thru these consigners. Maybe someone should connect the dots....
Someone got quite a deal on the Apollo 11 signed litho for $80. Even being an off size, you'd think that would go for $3,000+.
;-)
Seriously, what's the deal will them? Are they purely fraudsters or purely incompetent?
They'll probably be selling a Ghandi signed basketball soon.
I think yours is newer, Chris.
Why are quotes around Morales in the listings? For example:
Babe Ruth AUTOGRAPHED "Morales" certified framed display!
Perhaps it should be:
