What kind of FedEx service do they offer? It sounds like a mixed option like Taylor Swift used in the US.

I'm in the EU and whenever I choose FedEx Economy or Priority from different forwarders I have used (not Stackry), then it's being delivered by FedEx, not our equivalent of Royal Mail.

I tried the cheapest shipping option once which used DHL and that was the only time my package went missing.

They offer DHL Global or Fedex International Priority, they offer others but i only ever use DHL with them normally.

I got my Signed Buddy Guy Guitar sent with them through Fedex International Priority as my last DHL parcel disappeared with YUN Express.... but both DHL and Fedex seem to be handing over Parcels to anybody they feel like once they clear UK Customs where as all my previous 88 packages with them were sent via DHL and always arrived with a DHL driver.

My signed Buddy Guy guitar now has a Royal Mail tracking number which hasn't been updated for over a week, the same as my other Yun Express parcel which was supposed to be handed over to Royal Mail on 18th November.....

It sounds to me like they used a different (cheaper) shipping service like FedEx International Connect. I see that is offered by Stackry, it is a service where they work with local delivery providers (as you describe, "anybody they feel like").

FedEx International Priority is a service where they promise delivery in 2 business days through their own network, US to UK. There FedEx handles the import, which might show as UK Customs but in many cases it's just a formality. FedEx is very efficient if the paperwork is correct. Very rarely a package will actually be inspected/ held up by customs. That only happens if the paperwork is not in order or when the package is flagged for another reason.

But if it is handed over to Royal Mail through FedEx Connect then likely Royal Mail is handling the import and has a backlog, causing the delay.

I would contact FedEx and check with them what shipping service was bought and executed. This should not happen with International Priority.

You can DM me if you want my experience with other forwarders.

No offense but you sound like a guy selling a copy and want to make rumors so the value shoots up for people panic buy

At what point is it safe to start requesting refunds from Books-A-Million and Indigo? If they haven't shipped from these sellers by now, is there any hope that they will?

Wonder if Books a Million might end up like Barnes and have one per store available.

To be honest I’m shocked this is still ongoing. Someone should reach out to the publisher and see what’s up

There was a rumor that there are approximately 1,000 copies of the signed edition of the US box set. Someone recently testified to me that they received confirmation of this. But that doesn't tell us where those copies are going.

I was lucky enough to get a signed edition from an independent bookstore, but I'm wondering if there is any hope for my amazon.fr order. It still shows up as "delayed."

Grrrr. I got a message from a courier that an order from Amazon .com was out for delivery. Checked my Amazon .com orders and it said expected delivery December 16th for this book. I didn't have any other orders. So I got all happy and hopeful, waiting like a puppy for the mailman to come. Turns out my partner ordered underwear :(

Oh man :(

Was it at least underwear for you? :)

I'm pretty much starting to give up hope that my B.A.M. or Indigo orders will ever ship, has anyone had any updates on these? BAM told me mid-December which we have now passed and I haven't heard a word from Indigo
