Sold out!

Also, I called the store and asked if these were really in stock and actually signed and no games were being played, and they confirmed that these indeed will come signed as long as you ordered where it says "signed". As for stock quantity, they were unsure how many they had exactly.

It's like B&N - the page will read "Out of Stock Online" when you look it up in search results, and there will be no other option other than to wishlist and hope it comes back, but I wouldn't hold out on that. We got very lucky.

Indigo has about a third of the physical locations B&N has, but they've been pushing heavy on digital sales the last few years - they've also been really good with in-person signing events with authors I didn't expect (and they run a tight ship there too).

I've been a fan for a while because they get some stuff in there that I've never found in brick-and-mortar locations.

Very glad that people were able to get in on this.

Based on the single example I've seen, his signature has as John Cena-esque quality to it. So I think it'd be possible for Grohl to crank out the pages in Cena-like quantities with Cena-like speed.

I'm glad the publisher actually made a proper tip-in page too and didn't just use a blank white page like so many others (Cena, Carrey, Portman, etc.). Plus Grohl's is oriented correctly unlike Cena's most recent book.

Just received an e mail - B&N releases delayed to 26th October.......

barnes and noble delayed

Unfortunately, the release date for the below item(s) on your Order # has changed. We expect your pre-ordered item(s) to ship by 10/26/2021. We will send you an email when your order has shipped.

A local indie bookshop by me said they wouldn’t have signed copies until 10/26 either so I’m not sure if it’s the overall release or just signed copies that are being delayed.

My signed copy from BAM shipped and i should have it tomorrow. So I'd guess that it is just B&N and maybe other indie stores like yours who have had their signed copies delayed.

Not sure the last time I had a pre order released on time...every excuse COVID

That loud thud you just heard was the re-sale price on the secondary market. Lol.

Lol love it

Most big releases do - the choice many should be making is whether to buy on the "dip" (when prices crater due to initial oversaturation) or stay the course and wait to see what happens.

Many big signed book releases never have any indication of specific numbers created, which is always a pain, but you should presume there will be ample supply, at least in the short term. I don't see this as an investment, nor do I particularly care what the book will resell for - I wanted it because I'm a fan and the price was too good to ignore.
