yes i missed out as well , grrrrrr, hopefully it will come up for sale elsewhere
Several copies now being offered, 225 to 300. Thankfully no-one yet daft enough to purchase. Keep looking everyone, I would surprised if none of the other Hight St people don’t offer copies in the next few days.
Thats crazy. I wonder who sets these initial prices quickly. Missed out on these but not a big deal since I scored the CD a few years ago. Even picked up a spare for $15 while randomly searching eBay last year for treasure.. I would think the CDs should be worth more but of course fomo takes over
Got one.
Thx a bunch!
Looks like Foyles also had some copies but now sold out. Keep watching the usual suspects - I’m sure Waterstones did not have an exclusive arrangement.
Wasn’t sure about Foyles but I still believe there will be other suppliers.
And of course there will be a USA edition.
Damn missed it
For anyone that missed these don't panic buy on ebay for $300+... when his signed cd came out they flooded onto ebay and were selling for pretty cheap comparatively. Im sure when these come out same thing will happen. You can still get his signed cd for like $100-150 last I checked.
But let's hope theyre released other places so fans can get some as well.
Well said PFCollector, and great advice.
When Bono "Surrender" signed first came out, I didn't get an order in, and had
major FOMO. But after waiting patiently, they literally popped up everywhere,
perhaps this will hold true with Gilmour too.
And, as you and Jason H noted; the autographed CDs show up on many resell sights for FAR less money than the ridiculous price Flippers are seeking on Ebay right now.
Let's ALL keep eyes on this, so that those in our community who missed this first drop, may still have a chance to get one on the rebound. :)
Shoot if I had known you didnt get the Bono book I woulda sent you one at cover value, I had an extra I randomly found at Barnes well after they were sold out. Decided to randomly look and was shocked there was one there. I've done that for other people on here on some other stuff.
Ive noticed with the ebay flippers, the first presale people ask crazy amounts, then when they're actually released and shipped, everyone who got one floods them onto ebay, and its a race to the bottom on pricing. So I bet well see these for closer to $100-150 if he signed a decent amount. Only way they'll stay high is if he barely signed any. But he signed tons of cds. They were giving those away free with a copy of his wife's book.
