PayPal won’t do nothing I put my claim in and I got a message saying this transaction isn’t covered by buyer protection so looks like I’ll be taking all mine to the local WHSmiths

Yeah, I don’t have high hopes with PayPal but will give it a shot if nothing else. Mine is a Songteller bought from publisher…

so why isnt it covered by paypal?

I really don’t t know it just says it’s not but they took my claim when I did it I’ll screen shot what was said

I might ring them see what the crack is

We should all know by now Paypal are a Lord unto themselves and do what they want - I've Lost out on 7 items not as described claims in the last 2 years - mostly with the Mighty UMG - item advertised as Signed.... arrives not Signed - Paypal Sided with the Seller every time -even though they arrived not signed!

The only case  i won was Auroras recent release which arrived not signed - Aurora's webstore didn't reply to any emails privately or on Paypal and Paypal  refunded me after a few weeks - the moral here is Not to use Paypal - thick as thieves the lot of them!!!

Suggest you open dispute with credit card used with Paypal and don't waste any time.  Make it short and sweet.  Say you got a facsimile and credit card folks don't know what an autopen is.  Get your money back via credit card.  Hit these frauds via their pocket -book.

yeah paypal won’t do anything for mine either. i am trying too. crazy!!!

Nothing from Chronicle either here except that tepid reply from Ray.  Contacting my credit card and opening a dispute.

Has anyone who bought Songteller from Premiere Collectibles reached out to them about the issue? Just curious how they’re handling since they’re usually legit, I think someone mentioned they’d refunded in the past when similar issues arose.

I reached out to Premiere Collectibles on March 8 with email to see if they were going to honor their certificates and got the standard automatic type reply from an administrative assistant the next day on March 9th that theyre looking into it and will get back to me with "(human)" response soon. Nothing since then.   Seems like a yes or no question to me.

Still haven't received my book yet but I've had a few back and fourths with Waterstone. They refuse to budge. Ill post a screenshot below.. its pretty amazing how they are 100% sure its not an autopen, when it 100% really is..  Has anyone tried contacting the publisher? Im going to do what someone mentioned earlier and write a bunch of letters to Dolly. I really don't want this to fizzle out without an outcome. Especially for everyone who bought storyteller.

My apology to them was because they took my previous email as a personal attack when I gave them a list of ways they could miss this, being blind was one of them..
