My copy Just shipped from Waterstones - Does anybody know if Waterstones have ever sold anything Autopenned ? I can't ever recall anything ever?

They sold the Sinéad O'Connor books with stamped autograph and the Krieger books with autopen. 

Usually an autopen is decided by the publisher, Waterstones wouldn't know beforehand that they are going to receive autopen so it's possible. I cancelled my O'Connor before it shipped without any problems.

They cancelled all the sinead themselves when they found out it was auto pen. As far as I know they never sold any.

Has Dolly showed any videos of her signing these books?

Most artists do that for publicity so if she hasn’t that’s not a good sign.

I don't for a second think the Waterstones books will be Autopen - i hold them in the same high regard as Newbury comics as two of the very few suppliers  i truly trust - i've never had an autopen or fake from either of them.  

Any of the very few problems they have found in the past have been dealt with professionally and not covered up or lied about. 

Like damageinc777  - I would never have ordered one in the first place  - It's not like Waterstones or Newbury are UMG or Amazon UK now is it  !!!

She is one of the hardest graphs to obtain hence why people are skeptical. Then add in the fact that  Patterson has used stamps before. 

she can sell books for £400 and sell out so £15 is crazy if  real.

The one before was auto pen so he has a history.  Most people took a gamble thinking it’s too good to be true. We shall see in the next few days.

Would they really autopen a very limited run? I'd think if they were autopened, they would have been more widely available.

If you look.it up, Dolly has sold cd's at her online store that were autopenned.  Her Songteller book where she signed the record, those were real. I met her at a couple book and cd signings back in the 90's when she was more accessible.  I would say its a 50/50 shot that the Rose books will be legit. Good Luck to those who ordered and if they turn out to be fake. Just return it

True but Elton showed videos of him signing them. We have seen zero publicity on her signing these.
