Thanks for sharing.

Just know this is the US edition (different publisher/ cover), they only signed a couple for giveaways. The UK edition likely has a tipped-in page or bookplate and can look different.

A friend of mine just received three from WHSmith. He immediately thought autopen, however all three copies (his and two for friends) are different and two actually have ‘love’ added so I think we *might* be safe! Patterson look different too.

Just edited comment to include the pics! I’m thinking either several autopen patterns since those dots do look suspicious (in which case as many examples as can be shared on here would be helpful) or quite possibly just Dolly signing slower and more carefully as she gets older. Here’s a close-up of one of his copies; it’s quite a thick pen so that may just be bleed as sharpie on books does that.

All 3 have "love" actually. The 1st one is slightly hidden and looks eerily similar to KD's autopen on page 4 of this thread just using a thicker pen for yours
