I'd like to ask member thoughts on this whilst avoiding discussions of the subject's personality/ideology.
These two photos were recently posted as sale ads on a historical autograph site and other sites. The seller specializes in Trump items for the most part (especially regular offers of hats like this).
This accompanied the photos:
Here are 6 hats....3 in each style. The signature styles correspond with the slogans.
The seller was asked if TPA accompanied these. The response was: "These have not been certed yet."
I have a collector friend who asked my thoughts. My thoughts are not favorable. I thought I would ask others here to share theirs to pass on to him.

With the current...fluidity I am not sure this would be a wise time to purchase. YYMV.
Right.
But what do you think of the presentation of the hats/signatures themselves? Especially seeing them lined up like this. From a seller who has a steady supply as well.
He very rarely gives nice signatures like these at rallies and events. I would be very suspicious especially because there are more than one example of each. I think if the person who got these in person actually got them in person it would be one hat signed with full signature at a special sit down meeting. Or it would be one hat with a very rushed signature at a rally. Those rushed signatures are very difficult to authenticate and are far more common. It’s best to go for a full signature but those cost at least 3x as much and very heavily forged.
On the basis of the quantity and constant availability alone, I'd avoid this seller. Unless there was some incredibly unlikely scenario to explain this, it just isn't plausible.
+1
Thanks for these responses, guys! Those are all great thoughts to pass on. I want a friend to avoid a costly mistake if possible.
I think it's fishy.
But seeing what the hats said....made me think how cool it would be to have Trump on a baseball that said "Sorry I bet on baseball."
After I think.
