Easton Press is no longer shipping signed books to California.

I'm going to try to verify with the company, but one has to assume it's due to the many onerous requirements of the California Autograph Law AB 1570.

Another dumb regulation that only ends up punishing honest people. Crooked sellers will just fabricate the "required paperwork" or look for a loophole. #STUPID!

If you are not familiar with this recent law, learn more here: http://www.sportscollectorsdigest.com/california-autograph-law/

Yep, you'll see that on Newbury Comics (signed CDs) website too. Thanks, Mark Hamill.

Yeah... he's quite the champion of the people. I stopped following him on Twitter. Got tired of his anti-Trump hate.

I've just realized this recently. I guess if you live in California and want to buy autographs you're kinda screwed.

It's a well intended, much needed law—actually an amendment to one on sports memorabilia there since 1990—but it needs some work.
