This obvious and laughable Bill Dickey forgery was listed and sold by Ebay seller 16buck$4me for $9.50.

This looks like the same Bill Dickey forgery sold by Ebay scammer/seller Friscokid1944.

Sellers list crap like this on EBay because they know the suckers and wannabe autograph collectors will buy their forgeries.

And Ebay, as it has for the past twenty years, continues to profit from the sales of forgeries.

why would anyone forge Bill Dickey?  you could get a real one on an index card for 25 bucks.

You're right, but it's an easy few dollar profit for the forger. Index card cost a penny and a stamp 50 cents. Ebay seller cable-us2014 forges the likes of Frank Tanana, Lonnie Smith and Vance Law!
