eBay Seller lburnette Offers Doors “Signed” Debut LP From Antiquities With Banned Frangipani COA

This Doors “signed” debut LP is currently for sale from eBay seller lburnette at a BIN price of $9,000. It includes COAs from Antiquities of California and Donald Frangipani, whose name appears on eBay’s list of banned COAs. In my opinion, this is not authentic and is typical of what you see from Antiquities.

There are currently no known Morrison-signed copies of the debut LP.

I have removed the listing from Ebay. Please remove this article or I will consider legal action for loss of future sales. This was my first listing for an article like this. Thanks for the loving support. Someone could have taken a moment to be kind, instead, you slander me as a seller.

My point is that the person posting this should have been kind and taken the time to message me before publishing this. I'll admit that I'm brand new, and according to you guys, it looks like I made a big mistake in trusting when I bought this. No, I didn't research before posting, I blindly trusted. I'll admit that I got angry, not because the authenticity was questioned, but because of the blatant disregard of BallroomDays67 and his rudeness and cruelty. Educate us newbies, don't humiliate us.

The title of the post is true. By listing materials of apparently great value you do yourself and your customers a great disservice by offering items w/o knowing what you are selling, its qualities (or lack of), and of course value. You waded into the deep end of the pool without knowing it I suppose.You listed something like a part of Noah's Ark - I can not believe no one contacted you about it. Is the "rude and cruel" part this post and its title? It is factual. I do not know Ballroom to be any of the things you perceive.

I had a COA. I had no knowledge of the person who certified it. Don't tell me that when you were brand new at this, you didn't make mistakes. Again, ballroom guy could have been KIND. No one will admit that.

Not like this, no. And I am not in the habit of trusting things blindly or selling things without knowing what they are or what they are worth. Or if they are even real. Google is there for a reason. Ballroom is actually trying to protect people, including your own customers. Something you failed to do. He should be thanked and kindly.

I removed the listing. That should tell you that this whole thing scared me. I know now that I'm not equipped to sell things like this. I owe him nothing. Again, he could have contacted me beforehand. I would have removed the listing immediately pending authentication. He simply could not be kind.

No one wants to scare you. I surely don't. It is very, very hard to believe no one wrote you - what you listed was like listing the Mona Lisa. Serious collectors are always watching. Ballroom was indeed kind to many people - your customers, other collectors etc by posting this. Good luck to you.
