Ebay Seller Papamino Babe Ruth Autographed Baseball Laughable Forgery COA Academy Of Manuscript And Autograph, LLC Have To Read This!!!

When first saw this on Ebay, I laughed my butt off.

Check out the below Babe Ruth forgery on a baseball listed by Ebay seller Papamino.

The COA is from AMA (Academy Of Manuscript And Autograph).

When I first read the auction, my first thought was "This is one of those Babe Ruth secretarial-signed Sinclair Contest baseballs."

Then it dawned on me!!!!

Some moron actually forged a "Babe Ruth Secretarial-Signed Sinclair Contest" signature.

This is hilarious!!!

And EBay seller Papamino has their hilarious Babe Ruth forgery listed at $9,500.00 or Best Offer.

First, a photo of a true "Babe Ruth Sinclair Baseball" with the secretarial signature.

Below is the ridiculous listing by Ebay seller Papamino.

Yes, Christopher, this is a ridiculous attempt to sell a Sinclair Ruth as an authentic Ruth. I started a discussion about this same eBay listing earlier today. Here's a link:

Is this a forgery or actually a Sinclair trying to be passed off as authentic? The Academy of Manuscript and Autograph is hilarious. The owner goes on about his brilliant training, including a stint with the Cuban Secret Service. He must have helped to authenticate Fidel's vast autograph empire. :0)

By the way, I didn't know who you were for a long time, but I've enjoyed your videos on YouTube!

Thank you, James, for the compliment.

I don't think this is a "Sinclair Baseball."

Just some moron who forged a "Babe Ruth" secretarial.

Sorry, James, I was not aware of your thread.

Ridiculous auction, isn't it.

Not a problem, Christopher. You do a much more thorough job than I do anyway. Great work!
It doesn't even say anywhere on the coa that the signature is authentic. Just gives it a grade. Its merely a graded forgery

Here is a Cy Young that comes with that COA. Auction ends today.

You're right, Bryan.

Thank you.

There is actually also a " Letter of Authentication" with it. Just click on the pic below.

Nice work, James!!!

You're the man, Christopher. Keep going after those forgers and the illegitimate "authenticators"! Academy of Manuscript and Autograph cracks me up. It's such a high-brow sounding name (you know...real academic sounding, ha ha), without any substance a la Morales. What a joke. Unfortunately, many times newbies are drawn to crap like that.

Thank you, James, but all of this is a collective effort.

I appreciate all of the work that everyone like yourself does here.
