As time went on, Elvis signed fewer and fewer of his checks. Others he trusted were authorized by him to sign for him secretarially, as "Elvis Presley."

I made a mistake on an opinion of an Elvis the other day that told me I need refresh myself on him. Until I do, I'm not going to give authenticity opinions on Elvis autographs.

I don't trust Elvis signed checks. Look at the last one. Notice how shaky Vernon's signature is, and then look at the Elvis signature on the same check. I believe there is a strong chance that Vernon signed for Elvis on this one.

Interesting point Terrier. Vernon's P has angled "corners" and the "Elvis" has very similar "corners."

Steve and terrier. That‘s what I also thought with the last one. Vernon‘s signature and Elvis‘ has very similar corners. It was sold in an Auction 1999. But what do you think about the first two from 61 and 68?

I have concerns with both. It is difficult to authenticate Elvis signatures, especially these, where his full name is not part of the signature. In the first check, whoever signed it, also filled it out, and that handwriting does not look like Elvis', at least in my opinion. Not sure about the second one, but it seems unlikely that Elvis would be sitting around signing checks.

All of this man is fake. His music, his life, all! Was a clown in the hands of parker, friends and family. Rare find an Elvis signature signed by him... Rare!
