It's our first trip since 1985 - hopefully with the same result!

Big City Baby,  RBI #1 of game 4

Now go Cardinals, win the NLCS!!

Congratulations to the Royals.

Thanks for saying that Christopher.

You're welcome, James.

As a Yankees fan for over 50 years, I was very happy that the Royals beat the Orioles.

I have nothing but respect for the Yankees and their unrivaled history, even if they broke my heart in 1976 (as a 12 year-old), 1977, 1978. I'll never forget George Brett tying game 5 of the ALCS in the top of the 9th with a 3-run homer only to be knocked out of the playoffs by Chris Chambliss' solo shot in the bottom of the 9th! Finally we broke through in 1980 only to lose to the Phillies in the World Series. Hopefully we can win it like we did in 1985.

As a life-long Red Sox fan, the Royals will have another supporter thru the end of October!

Thanks, Terrier. I'd be proud to follow the Red Sox as World Series Champs! I just hope that too much time off doesn't hurt us like it did the Rockies in 2007.
+1

OUCH!! That one hurt! Game 5, deciding game, Yankees beat Royals on Chambliss solo shot in the bottom of the 9th, 7-6, to win series 3-2 to advance to World Series, making a 12-year-old boy cry.

Me too Christopher.  I totally agree.
