Put it this way, if I saw this on a flea market for £500 I'd probably take a gamble and go for it.
Could be a very good forgery but normally you wouldn't see such fluidity (e.g. in the "H") or spontaneity (e.g. in the dotting of the i). Also, I think a forger would have used a more typical "imi".
thanks Pug. Is the name Ann-Sofie Bergkvist familiar to you in connection with Hendrix?
The name doesn't immediately ring a bell.
Thanks. Yours is much classier and nicer. The one I posted is supposed to be a 1967 sig. Do you know the date of yours please?
I think it's ok and I think it will go for well over the estimate but I do question that "value". Again with the fading - compares badly with Richard's example - and the condition of the paper is, unattractive. Not sure I could enjoy it so much but maybe I am being too picky.
admittedly I have not studied Hendrix before, but comparing this to known authentic examples, it looks good to me
very nice example Ballroom!
Thanks, Terrier.
yes your is super dooper nice. what do we reckon the stains are from on the one I posted
The residue of two water/moisture events are visible and the bit at the sides appears paste.
