I put Beckett signature review to the test here’s the results

First photo is a signed Paul Mccartney album that was previously authenticated by BAS so I decided to take a snap shot of the sellers listing and (test) Beckett signature review, i am in no way trying to out the seller! This is simply a Beckett review test, in fact I’m very green when it comes to Paul McCartney’s signature and I do think that this seller has a legitimate Autograph,

the second photo will show my proof of submission and lastly the third photo will show BAS results

I just noticed the Ebay listing has a Perry Cox COA , Perry is one of the best Beatles authenticators and a honest guy , does that change anyone’s opinions on the item

Perry is most certainly an honest guy. Beckett is as well(I hope so anyway). Doesn't change my thoughts on this signature. I'm not a fan of it or this style. Doesn't mean it's not authentic. Just my opinion.

I absolutely value each and every ones opinion on this forum and is the reason why I post so much content in the short time I’ve been a member, and although I originally put Beckett to the test thinking/knowing  I was going to get conflicting results I have to say what’s on my mind, is it at all possible that Beckett and cox got it right during full examination and maybe some of the members who said it was likely not authentic are (sorry to say) wrong? As far as Beckett giving it two different reviews, is it at all possible that once it was sent for full examination it would have passed  again even if there was no sticker on the item to suggest that it was pre authenticated before? I’m new the signed Beatles items but I’ve heard some super great things about Cox, and also Epperson And Bas now that grad is at the helm  and the few items I showed Epperson that he passed on quick opinion some members said was forgeries and wouldn’t be allowed for sale or trade on this site of course once fully examined he might have gave a different opinion but if these guys are the experts and there all getting it wrong who can you really trust?  I hope that me speaking/typing my thoughts don’t get me band because I do absolutely love the site and value the members time and expertise and all the hard work Mr Cyrkin does behind the scenes, i know sometimes authenticaters make mistakes I’m just saying that sometimes we do as well

Yes, anyone could be wrong. Beckett, members here, even Perry Cox is human. I certainly have been wrong many times. Goes with the territory. These debates will go on until the end of time.

Does BAS have anyone in particular who renders opinions on music autographs?  I know that Roger once worked for JSA.  Perhaps there is a music autograph specialist at BAS as well.

Let's look at another Macca signed LP from the same seller and with the same authentication. This one is still on eBay. and I believe it was listed the same day as the one in the OP. What do you think?https://www.ebay.com/itm/143199018245

When you mentioned same authentication I totally freaked out thinking it was the same Coa number as well,

lol glad to see it wasn’t that!

No, that was the other thread. Ha ha.

Here's one that was on eBay, and apparently was removed by eBay. As you can see, this one includes a Ringo signature. I don't believe it has been authenticated.

I think ebay was right to remove this one, don’t you think?

I think so too. They removed this one as well:

And used to be that anything that failed a quick opinion from PSA was removed, and since BAS does them now I imagine it’s the same with them.

Here's one more - a signed Abbey Road:
