Came across the PSA letter from 2004 and the font looks different on the top where it says "LETTER OF AUTHENTICITY" could it be fake? Any opinions would be appreciated.

It doesn't have James Spence and Steve Grad, and both should be on a 2004 LOA, so I think it is not real. From what I can see the Elvis autograph is highly questionable as well.

Thanks Steve. The authenticators autographs on the bottom look strange and there is no sticker on the item, not sure if PSA attached labels back in 2004.

I would advise contacting PSA about this.  They certainly can confirm if this is fake and I'm sure they would be interested to know if someone is forging their LOAs.

True. Maybe I can email them a photo of it and they can tell me if it's legit. I have seen a fake one a while back it was for a Michael Jackson Thriller Album and the seller reused the same number from an authentic thriller album and used it for a forged item.

Gio,

I didn't see you posted the image before, sorry. Here's something to look out for in the future:

See those wide margins on the left and right side only? Those almost always mean the photo was copied and pasted into a computer, and printed on inkjet photo paper. Inkjet photo printing came out in about 1996. Elvis died in 1977.

Also, a magazine full-page photo would rarely have white margins on the side. The image usually runs the entire page.

Learned something new Steve. I see so that dates the photo and would have been a red flag right away. Very true, magazine photos don't have margins like this photo. Thanks, again.

Letter looks fake to me.
And this is definitely not Roger Eppersons signature

Yes, looks way off. Like a child did it.

100% fake COA.

Who is using it?

I fell for it and paid 1000$ for it :( Im trying to get my money back. Wish I would have posted pictures of it before I pulled the trigger. Bought it from a seller in Spain who purchased it at a collectors shop in Louisiana.

Oh no! How long ago did you buy it, and did you pay with PayPal? Unless you bought it on eBay, PayPal may not be able to do anything. I'm not sure.

But so sorry, Gio.

Odds are that they did not buy it in Louisiana.

Bought it this morning. Bought it outside of Ebay. Paypal said they would cover me and that I can dispute it immediately but seller is communicating with me and promising to give me a refund in 2 days. Seller has other autographs with the same type of certificates. One of them is JFK and the other of George Clooney.
